Which is the kind of thing conspiracy nuts like to jump on even if it makes no sense. If they were planning to take away all your rights and shoot your dog and all that then surely they could get away with making a perfectly valid oath and then breaking it. It's like they think lying is somehow harder than anything else and the "villains" of the world are obligated to repeatedly drop stupid-looking hints.
