UnReal World

UnReal World is a survival roguelike set in iron age Finland...

I'm recommending this because the game just go on to temporarily becoming donationware instead of normal shareware model...so let's play it!

Can't find any animals to track... otherwise, making a decent living by fishing, then roasting the fish.

^ Try climb the trees on world map, it'll help you see around, including animals in the area...really though, generally I don't find tracking that useful unless you want to track animals that just ran off of your zoomed-in screen...

And yeah, fishing is probably easiest to get food reliably in all seasons...just make sure to get some nets if you want surplus...

Yep, finally figured out how to climb. Also figured out that the size and type of weapon really matters - it was very difficult to bash in the skull of anything with a club, whereas the grain-flail works wonders.

And now I've been sucked into the joy of building a cabin and a nice long trap fence.

Shame grainflail use flail skill, which my character really suck at...I'm sticking to spears myself...

Ah yes - I once managed to one-shot a stag with a spear through the heart. Very lucky hit.

^ Awesome! I want to launch it, but got lazy...

I wish I can cancel crafting stuff then come back to resume later though...it really sucks when you have bad tools and some things are just too complex to be worked on with the 8 hour max craft time...

And that's how I learned how to build a trap fence

Oh, 3.18 was out for a while, just saying...which is awesome since now you can stop some job halfway and come back to finish!

Also: was lucky...I saw an Elk on world map, so I move in for a kill...when, BAM! PACK OF WOLVES! Which turns out is also hunting for said elk too! Good thing they didn't care about me, or that would have shredded me to bits...
