Oh, I saw a rainbow bee-eater once. Sadly it was dead 
But the blue colour of those back feathers? So bright it was difficult to believe they were real.
If we're finding colourful birds, rainbow lorikeets

Hummingbirds are ungodly fast, once I saw one upstate and if I had blinked I wouldn't have seen it at all.
Eating a Vanilluxe will give you frostbite.

My favourite bird of all time is the resplendent quetzal.
