"In any case, is anyone seeing any reason not to press on to Rome? Find some safe harbor somewhere in Accorded Neutral territory?"

"American games not good enough for yeah?" M said with a small smirk and a wink. He was back on his feet without the support of this walking stick.

"Well if it means you can get us a Blue-Eyed White Dragon in a pinch then I don't care what you prefer."

"Seconded. Let us move forward."

"Let's not start discussing dragons, fictional or otherwise. The one at Hoover Dam was enough for a lifetime."

"I don't see what the big deal is. They're basically big scaly cows."

"Terry, I think you've got your worlds confused. Unless you want to tell me all along I've been moving wind by speaking its Name."

"Once we are on safe ground...we can compare notes." Tim said, shrugging uncomfortably.

"Yes, Jarl. I am going to tell you how your magic system works. That is definitely not an idiotic thing to do. Why don't you go and lecture me on how to be a wolf while we're at it."

"Hey, apparently you thought it was A-OK to talk about your expertise on the exact dietary nature of giant scaly mythological creatures usually associated with kidnapping virgin daughters."

"What, are you a dragon? Are you slumming with us hairless beach apes while your hoard is being renovated? Because that's what needs to happen for the analogy to work. Telling a wizard how wizards work is not comparable to telling a wizard how dragons work if the wizard is not in fact a dragon."

"You do know that the word 'wizard' comes from 'wise', right?"

"I will drive you over. And you are no Wizard Jarl, neither in theory nor practice."

"Hey, what a coincidence. The word 'wiseasss' also comes from 'wise,'" Terry said over his shoulder as he headed back to the middle car.

"That does seem to fit our nordic associate far better."

"Hey, nobody objects when Dresden calls himself a wizard."

"Of course they don't," Terry called back. "They like living somewhere that's not a smoking ruin. Are y'all gonna hit the road, or do we stand here bantering all day? I'm good either way, I just wanna know."

"There was a d-d-dragon in h-h-h...." M put his goggles on his head and pinched the bridge of his nose.

"Let's just go before you all give me an anyeuresum"

"Don't worry. It was only a small one. Jarl is just being hyperbolic because of his Viking roots."

"Oh sure, a tiny, wingless, bipedal, poison-spewing lower case d dragon that you weren't even there to fight, Tim. Odin forbid, it could have been the Nidhogg."

"Well excuse me for trusting you to take care of yourself for a while. There is only so fast I can walk through Winter once I realized otherwise."

"Please. By the time you'd taken your leisurely stroll through Winter that dragon was long dead. If it hadn't been for that gun-crazed woman with the survival instinct of a stoned lemming, we would have escaped Puck, too."

"It still meant grabbing my gear and heading over 6000 kilometer westward because you couldn't be without adult supervision for a week."

"I can't help the fact that I kept having to take time out of my busy war-preventing schedule to babysit the idiots who pick up lost medallions with Fair Folk in them."

"You should hire an assistant to screen those people."
