The idea intrigues me. Just hope they have the service in Canada at some point.
The PS4 is still #1 in the U.S. for October. 10 months in a row.
That could be a broken streak this November, but with the possibility of GTAV remastered and Far Cry 4 bundles making there way here from Europe. Along with the 3 games to a console bundle for Black Friday, it could go either way.
Sony may be in trouble as a whole, but I bet that if something happens, Playstation can be sprung into its own brand.
Watch SymphogearThat's the major point. The PS 4 has so far marketed itself as a game console that will also happen to handle TV. Meanwhile, Xbox One's "all-in-one" marketing was translated as it being a TV box that could handle games. Huge differences.
A year in, Microsoft has admittedly done a better job on the actual game output though. Sony's first year out has been pretty weak.
The only games I want from Microsoft's side are Dead Rising 3(which is already coming to PC) and D4(which is probably coming to PC).
I'd be lying if I said I wasn't really missing Halo but I can live with it otherwise. Kinda bummed on Dead Rising 3 but I doubt that franchise will stay in Microsoft's hands forever.
Oh really when? The only game Microsoft has put out all year that makes me wish it was on Playstation is Sunset Overdrive.
After months of analysts saying it should happen, Sony cuts off the mobile and TV division
You can still get a Sony TV or phone, but they'll be producing less of them.
Sony television kit is always rather good, but commands a stupidly high price premium if you go for it new. They're the ones that set the model that Apple goes for now.
Just thought I'd point this out: tomorrow is the 20th anniversary of when the original PlayStation came out in Japan.
Technically, today is the 20th anniversary of when the original Playstation came out in Japan, as it's December 3 in Japan right now.
Well in any case, they're releasing a limited edition PS4 stylized for nostalgia.
And it is gorgeous.
Why not get the Xbox Controller?
The edge I'd always give Microsoft is that they have the superior controller.
But not the superior d-pad.
That is true. I prefer the Xbox Analog placement, but Playstation has the good directional buttons.
The Xbox controller has always been too big for me.
So I just wanted to ask something: should the PS Experience get its own thread like a convention, or is it okay to keep it in here?
I ask because any gaming show that isn't E3 never seems to get many replies (not even EVO or TGS).
Leave it here. Because it's specifically a Playstation event, anything worth talking about out of it is going to be discussed here anyway.
I'd keep it here. Nintendo Direct discussions tends to stay in the Wii-U/3DS threads.
Maybe you have small hands sir.

It's entirely possible. I'm just pointing out that it's entirely possible for Microsoft's controller design to be inferior for some people.
Then again, I'm weird when it comes to controllers. The Dualshock 1-3 is probably my favourite controller design ever, followed by the SNES.
I've always used the Dualshocks. They're my favorite controllers. The Xbox-style ones are good, but I can never really truly replace any Dualshock with one of those.
I like the Dualshocks better than any other pad I have ever used. The normal first-gen Sixaxis is fine, but lacks the reassuring weight of the Dually 3.
Plus they headed their new console with a games focus. This TV stuff is only coming now.
