Justice Avengers: Jump City at Dusk

"Never Fear! Jammer-Man is here!!" Robbie said, reveling in his new form, even as he used his powers to disrupt See-More's beams into so much harmless light.

"Look! The others are arriving- wait, who's the guy in red?" Polly asked.

"Huh? Oh wonderful, it's Deadpool!" J-Man huffed. "And look, Loki's here too! Well, at least Ghost Rider- err, I think that's the Ghost Rider?- seems to be dealing with him."

"Yeah well, deal with these losers, I'm going back to my new partner" Polly said, running back to Pancho's side.

"Wait, what new partner??"

Peter’s expression turned neutral as he gently drummed his fingers on the table, mind churning as he attempted to figure out the best place to start his story. “Ssssso. After a night of, um. Hmmm. Okay, after I… See, yesterday, there was this robot.” Peter stopped, and leaned back. "So how does this whole "lawyer confidentiality" thing work? Because there are a few, ah, sensitive details in this particular story."

Deadpool hacks several clones with his swords while chanting some kind of almost childish song.

Doooon't call your enemies happy...until they are deead...

"Although we're not your lawyers— yet-" Foggy said, adding that last part of the phrase when Matt opened his mouth. "Whatever you say here won't leave this room."

"Me, Foggy and Tatsu won't say a word to anyone outside this room, even if you tell us right now the secrets of the universe." Matt replied.

"Well, if you do tell us who really killed JFK, that's a whole 'nother—" Foggy began, but a quiet jab from Matt shut him up. "Yep, won't say a word!"

Forensics Department

Linda fought the immediate urge to slap Wally in the face at that remark. Because there was a certain charm in that smarm, an irrepressible cockiness that was... endearing in its own way.

"Sounds like a nice idea," she said before tossing her hair back with one hand an heading back out the door.

The Trap!

"Now now, child," Loki told Starfire as one of his illusions sprung out mid-sentence to attack her. "You'll get your turn." He kept his attention on Ghost Rider and just... waited for something to happen. "Oh! Oh, I'm terribly sorry. Is this the part where I scream in abject agony as the countless sins I have committed across the eons tear my soul apart from within?" he smirked and leaned upon his staff like a walking stick. "Funny thing about sin: some part of your morality has to understand, on even the smallest level, that what you've done is wrong. But we gods operate on a different morality. If, for instance, you were to fix this stare of yours on... well, on your understanding of the "Almighty", would he burst into flames upon reflection of the countless deaths and misery and torment his subject has suffered since time immemorial?" He paused and picked at his teeth. "That's one theory, at least. The other... is that I'm an illusion." No sooner had he said this than another Loki materialized behind Ghost Rider while choking up his staff like a baseball bat and swung with all his might.

Private HIVE scowled down at See-More after Jammer-Man dispelled his attack. "Useless!" he muttered before throwing him at Jammer-Man like a spear. He did a few backflips to pick up his shield before reentering the fray.

And all the while, Billy Numeri continued to spawn almost as quickly as Logan and Wade cut them down, practically choking the street in their numbers.

"I'll see you later." Wally said, and the moment Linda stepped off the room, he swooned. There was something about her, the way she easily took control of the room... it all just rustled Wally in a way few people had. The good kind of rustling. "The West charm works again." He muttered to himself, fist pumping the air.

He had to tell someone the good news. And who better than his Amish friend with the mind of a nineteen year old and the body of Arnold Schwarzenegger at his prime? Wally imagined Arnold Schwarzenegger dressed as Majestic for a moment, before pulling out his flip-phone (newer phones always blew out whenever he touched them for some reason) and calling Majestic himself.

Wolverine was getting annoyed by all the Billies he had to cut through. He could keep this up all day, but he really did not want to. He really did not want to resort to this, but he had no choice.

"Wade, go with guns!" Wolverine said. "Side arms and body shots only! All the better if we hit the real one!"

Jammer-Man suddenly took off into the air, causing Private HIVE's attack to miss (and showing off his flying power.) Polly then shouted, "Pancho get him!!"

Pancho Smash! the bunny-monster responded, and went after the Private. Meanwhile the child-heroine herself re-summoned her Mallet and took a swing at See-More. "This is for blasting me!!"

Meanwhile, Jammer-Man adjusted his goggles, and scanned the vicinity across the electromagnetic spectrum. His search paid off: he saw a trail of footprints in the ground where nobody had stood. *There you are, you Asgardian bastard* he thought. *You may have avoided our detection last time, but not even you can eliminate every trace in the environment around you.*

Then, remembering that some story claimed Loki was a half-frost giant, he prepared a blast of Infrared energy (heat) and unleashed it in his direction.

"Oooohh yeaaahh baby!! Time to go nuts!!" Wade says, smiling wildly as he pulls two assault submachine guns out of seemingly nowhere, spinning and whipping them in the air as he did numerous trick shots, finishing numerous clones...with shots to the groin.

"Ooooh....right in the baby maker"

He spinned horizontally, almost like a ballerine, arms spread to his side as he disposed a wide circle of clones around him.

"Dakka-dakka-dakka-dakka-dakka!!" He shouted, as his guns made

DAKKA-DAKKA-DAKKA-DAKKA-DAKKA

"GODDAMMIT WADE, WATCH YER SHOOTING!" Wolverine yelled out after barely dodging a few shots.

"Hey Logan, are you seeing any civilians around where I'm shooting? Besides, I'm a pretty good shot, I'm not missing anything!"Wade replplies back while shooting with both his guns raised above his shoulders, shooting at a group behind him.

"But if you insist...time to being the BB guns!" He unloads his smgs on a jumping clone, pulls two shotguns. "Crowd, meet crowd control. Tis' one's Big, and this one's Berthaaa!!!" he starts dual wielding them.While it seemed crazyness at first, it actually seemed a more controlled mayhem, if that's any possible with Deadpool.

"Ooh sheesh, way to look more badass! Where the hell are our mounting raptors when we need'em?"

Wolverine stared in awe for a few seconds, absentmindedly slicing a clone in the head and cutting downwards, bisecting it. "I admit that's a bit better," he said as he cut another clone absentminded horizontally across its torso.

Starfire attempted to fly out of the range of the illusion's icy blast and tried to blast the real Loki with Starbolts.

"I will not fall for your tricks!" Starfire exclaimed.

Sapphire Carol

As the heroes attacked the other memebers of the HIVE. For some reason Carol was just flying and watching. She watched them not uttering a word or saying anything. For those looking at her would seem as she was looking at a ghost.

All she could see was the love in the heroe's hearts, the bonds of friendship that joined the heroes together. But when she looked at herself, she saw nothing.

Yet this revelation didn't bring peace or enlightment but rage...

She looked at the Ghost rider with interest . He could make others feel pain with his stare. But she had the power to connect with others hearts.

Her hands glowed and assuming it worked and that the demon still had a heart, she would make him feel the guilt and the pain of hurting his loved ones, and of those that had betrayed him and hurt him, if he had any.

Kara—Looking for Secret

Kara just blushed in emabarrasment at Kitty's words. She was just happy about her friend being so accepting of her.

But there was still the mystery of what Kity had seen. Was it a friend or a foe?

"Hello anybody there?," she asked with curiosity as she walked around looking for something. She was so curious about Kitty's findings that she has forgotten about using her super hearing and X-ray vision, to help her to look around.

"It's ok we just want to talk, " she said while looking around. "Though I think you might want be someplace nicer, I could invite you a coffee." she gave a smirk.

"I can see why you've found yourself attracted to him," Betsy said with a smile. "Your reaction is quite natural, too... though I have to admit, the notion of you going after another woman out of jealousy isn't the most pleasant of thoughts," she added with a thoughtful grin.

The dark-haired woman took another deep breath. "Perhaps there's some merit to spending time with both men for a while, after all. Still... apologies for sounding like a broken record at this point, but until you're able to work things out with yourself, you may not want to take the 'next step', as it were, with either one. Heartbreak all around is a very likely thing if that happened."

Betsy reached out, placing a hand on She-Hulk's arm and squeezing reassuringly. "I'm not reiterating this just because you share a body with Jennifer. You're a friend too, She-Hulk; I don't want to see you hurt by your own guilt." Her statement was punctuated with another serene smile.

Majestic

There was a vague vibration in Majestic's pocket. Not that he noticed, or could possibly notice, as he was encased in a block of ice three feet thick on each side.

Wally's Phone

"The call you are attempting to make could not be completed as dialed. It appears that the number you are trying to reach has been catastrophically destroyed."

The Trap!

Loki let out a cry of shock as Jammer-Man's heat beam came towards him. He'd been disguised as a lamppost during the fracas. He twirled his staff out in front of him like a propeller to catch the beam.

"Very well done, dear boy!" he commended. "And here is your prize!" he hurtled the beam back in Jammer-Man's face.

The Billys were finally down to one, who was gasping and sweating and holding up his arms defensively.

"S-stop! I give up! I can't make no more!" But during the distraction of all the Billys being made, Spider-Woman had snuck up behind Wolverine and took advantage of his heightened senses with her pheromones.

"Logan," she purred in his ear while she ran her fingers up his arm. "Be a dear. Your friend in the red suit? Kill him for me. Please?"

Private HIVE went flying when Pancho punched him and barely had time to put his shield in front of him to absorb most of the impact before he skidded across the street. See-More was not so lucky. When Polly hit him with his hammer and he smacked into a building, he produced a sound that was very similar to a "Glavin!"

"Huh. Didn't think that new 'call lost' message would ever be used." Wally narrowed his eyes, reaching in his bag for his communicator. "Flash here." He spoke into it, finding his ring inside. "What's going on?"

The Trap

Jammer-Man casually dispelled the Heat-Blast like he had See-More's. But now he had to come up with a new attack against Loki.

Maybe electricity would work? After all, Thor was always kicking his butt. The trick was getting past that staff of his. Perhaps multiple electric arcs (think Tesla coils) would do the trick? At any rate, keeping the tricky god distracted (and visible) might give someone else the chance to strike him down. Anyway, out came the arcs: *zaaaaaap*

Meanwhile, Polly's comm received Flash's call. "Where the heck have you been!?" she quickly snapped. "We are fighting Loki and his goons over at (insert location)! Hurry up!!"

On The JA Comm

"Friends! Allies. I will be unable to help you this day, as another foe as revealed-"

"I DO EL-ES-DEEEE~"

   *explosion sounds*   

"-himself. Some kind of flying magical pony. I'll rejoin you when I can."

Wolverine did not see Spider-Woman sneaking up on him at all, and the pheromones immediately starting taking effect. However, the mutant's years of meditation and training allowed to overcome it somewhat, at least enough -

*CRACK*

- to break his own nose with a well-placed punch to the face. He took a moment to recover before swinging an elbow into Spider-Woman's face.

"Steel, stop talking and help me out here!" Impulse yelled on the background of the android's call.

"Hold on, hold on- I need more info!" Wally yelled back after blinking at the oddity of Steel and Impulse's message. "What are they doing there— did you guys just stumble into them?!"

JA Comm

"Ah! Impulse, it's a pleasure to-"

"My name is SNOWFLAME! I'm a princess! Are you a princess too!?"

   *more explosions*   

"HALLUCINOGENS ARE MAGIC!"

"Steel out."

Faiza sighed as she hovered in mid-air among the rest of the battle.

"Why is nobody durable here? Non-fatal sword attacks are kind of limited."

She looked at Billy and decided he wasn't much of a threat so she turned back to Spider Woman and charged at her again.

Deadpool approaches Billy, putting both barrels below his chin, his shoulders turned down and face extended to meet the gaze of his hostage. He held what looked like a genuine simphathetic and concerned look. He says with a calm tone:

"Oh. What's the matter, Billy, can't split up no more?"

"Well, we could help with that!!" A more maniac voice of the own Deadpool talks.

The shotgun barrel makes more pressure on Billy's throat. Deadpool releases a very strong grin visible from under his mask.

"Oh yes we can." He roars. "Only thing is...he will only get smaller and smaller..." He turns his head as he hears Logan groaning from the pain of the broken nose. He looks at Billy again, widening his eyes."..Uuh..."

He gave a headbutt into Billy's nose, hoping to knock him out.

"saving the fun for later?!"

"Hey Billy, don't die yet, we'll play in just a second." He says smiling with a finger raised.

A plush frog lands into spider woman's feet. It has speakers on it, and buzzes an chorus between coaxes..."Welcome to the jungle!" Before its thorat starts filling up and it explodes with a flashbang.

"You there! There's only place for one very seductive character Role in this scene of the Play!" Deadpool pants angrily from inside a broken store frontwindow, whose sign says "Frogs R' Us".

"Unless she want to hook up..." A graver voice says.

"UNLESS YOU WANT TO HOOK UP!" Wade screams without leaving his angry face.
