Justice Avengers: Jump City at Dusk

Wolverine dodged the net, but allowed himself to get slammed by the hammerhead. While he managed to cross his arms to soften the blow, it was clear the mutant's adamantium skeleton was the only thing allowing him to keep standing.

"You do know......these powers are only temporary.....right?" Wolverine asked while straining under the pressure.

"Yeah, like, now?" She-Hulk added to Majestic's question, frantically looking at the hole on the storefront to see what made their heavy-hitter retreat.

Rural Falls

"Lucky for you, we got just the thing." Commander Cold saying, showering the hole in the storefront with blasts as Johnny Quick and Atli walked out, the latter already spinning his hammer over his head. "Punch it!" He yelled to the Wheather Monarch, as the pad they were in was covered by a protective blue shield, which started spinning, and spinning, and spinning... and just before Atli swung his mighty hammer down on the pad, they disappeared in a flash.

There was another flash, and they re-appeared in a cavernous location, obviously on the underground of the city. The rocky walls were decorated with consoles and computers of various kinds, screens showing scenes from multiple areas of Rural Falls- with one of the screens even showing Atli and Johnny Quick discussing amongst themselves before running off. In the middle of the cave stood a statue of Abraham Lincoln, his head having been removed by someone else in the past.

"Here, come on, we don't have much time." Commander Cold said to the others as the pad landed and he rushed off towards the opposite end of the cave, where a giant cell with a glass window was. Putting in the code, scanning his hand and his retina, Commander Cold opened the cell, motioning for She-Hulk to throw Majestros inside. "Before he wakes up!"

The others dropped down from the pad, staring down at Pulson Girl. "So..." The Trixster said, raising an eyebrow. "Who are you supposed to be?"

Jump City

"Nice try, claw guy, but that ain't gonna stop me from giving you to the old man!" The kid laughed as his hammer-hand got bigger. "I'm gonna slice you up with your own claws! Oh, man, it's gonna be so freaking awesome!"

The woman gritted her teeth. "Shut up! You're just trying to make me give up!" She yelled, before sending down not only a snowstorm, but a rainstorm, complete with a bolt of lightning.

The teenager kept grinning, even as Thor walked towards him. "What? You want to get fried? Fine! I'll fry y—" He was suddenly interrupted by Thor placing his hand on his shoulder. "W-what?... uh... I'm Jonas. Jonas Ruby." He muttered, scared by the god's blase attitude.

"Er..." Pulson Girl hesitated to answer Commander Cold's question, because it made her realize an important issue. "I'm Pulson Girl, Mistress of the Pulson Particles. But tell me: do you have anybody in this world who changes forms by using a- dial of sorts?"

(Note: Presumably this would be an evil version of Robbie -he's gone crazy in the comics more than once. The dial would be known as the Villain Dial. I don't think he would ever share it with his Suzy thought.)

"Jonas, your super power, it's the absorption and expulsion of electricity, right?" Thor asked. He chuckled, "Oh look, you've gone and made me use big words."

"You do.....know.....that.....I wasn't born.....with these claws?" Wolverine said, straining even further from the increased size of the hammer. He could feel his arms and the bottom of his feet becoming increasingly bruised, and every muscle in between felt it was on fire. His adamantium skeleton was holding up quite well, but the mutant did not know how long before his brain will force the rest of his body would give out. Certainly after the pavement, judging by the hairline cracks on the ground.

Starfire sighed and began weaving to avoid the lightning, trying to back the weather girl with her starbolts, though with only enough power to stun the girl, not to harm her.

She-Hulk didn't throw Majestos inside, no. She nudged Majestic aside with her hip, grabbed the unconscious villain by his feet and spun him around above her head before hurling him into the cell. "That oughta keep him knocked out for a few more hours!" She announced, smiling to herself. "Damn, that felt good! Something about his face made it all so much better... uh, no offense." She muttered that last part when she remembered Majestic was still there.

Majestic waved awkwardly as he stared at....himself. "Who is he?" he said, turning to the Renegades. "Where did w...where did he come from?" Perhaps, in a strange way, he would finally have answers.

Rural Falls

Commander Cold locked the door, standing back as it hissed, a hundred different security systems being activated in order to keep the prisoner inside his little cell. "His name is Majestros. Although he insists we call him Warlord Majestros." He told Majestic as he walked over to the console, typing in a few keywords and pulling up video of Majestros laying waste to entire armies. "We don't know where he came from. One day, he just showed up. Demanded everyone to obey him. When people didn't bow, he burned up their cities. We fought back, and then he joined the Ultimate Syndicate. Together with the rest of the group, he rules over... I'd say ninety five percent of America. Now here's my question. Why do you look so much like him?"

Trixster rubbed his chin. "You know, I don't think there's someone like that..." He muttered. "Then again, I don't suppose whoever relied on a dial would reveal that to his enemies."

Jump City

"Hah! I don't care!" The teenager said, grinning. "I'm gonna have those claws and then I'm gonnaaa—" He trailed off, as the giant hammer smashing down on Wolverine suddenly got lighter and lighter until it turned into a flap, falling on top of him. The teenager was yelling for help, as his entire body was melting, all of it pooling next to a drain.

"I s-suppose it is— wait, what the hell are you doing? Take your hand off me!" Jonas said, pushing Thor's hand away and pointing his finger at him. "One more word, and I'll blow you sky high!"

One of the starbolts hit the girl on the belly, and although it didn't stun her, it did send her flying back. This move apparently pissed her off, because her eyes suddenly glew, giant snowballs falling from the sky and crashing down on the shops around them as the girl just grinned.

"Ah! Stop it!" Starfire yelled and tried to destroy the snowballs with her starbolts before they hit the ground, focusing on minimizing the damage of the attack more than the girl she was fighting.

Wolverine watched impassively as the teen melted away. All the kid wanted was probably to be special, and once he got it the power went straight to his brain, turning him violent and megalomaniacal. The mutant felt nothing but pity for him........

A beat.

Wolverine stomped his foot hard on the last bit of rubbery goop before all of it went down the drain, just in case it was merely a ply to either escape and/or ambush the former X-Man.

"Jonas, you and me got so much in common! I mean, you absorb and eject and are immune to electricity, I absorb and eject and am immune to electricity too!" Thor said, friendly like, "Tell me, do you also have super strength?"

"That's because, hun," She-Hulk stepped forward, pointing at Majestic with his thumb. "He is this Majestros guy. Except we call him Majestic- which in my humble opinion sounds much, much better, and makes you look less like a pompous ass- and he most certainly doesn't want to be called warlord." She crossed her arms. "Basically, we come from a different universe. And we're looking for our friend. His name is the Flash, he's like—" She grabbed Impulse by the back of his shirt, lifting him up and pointing at him. "— like this guy, except taller."

Jump City

"And that's what you get for trying to stop—" The wheather-controlling girl yelled, but before she could finish her gloating, one of the giant snowballs hit her, sending her to the ground, the wheather going haywire as the girl lost control of it. Thunderbolts coupled with snowballs and a freak storm surrounded the area, growing and growing.

"GAH!" The rubber-boy yelled, now nothing more than a piece of rubber stuck to Logan's boot. "P-please... I don't want to be a puddle! I don't want to be a puddle!" He cried, tears streaming down his face, as Blackfire landed behind Logan, holding an unconscious old lady by the back of her shirt.

"Logan," Blackfire called out to him, throwing the old lady at his feet. "This human turned back to her normal, soft-skin body after a few focused blasts, I presume th— what are you doing?"

Jonas blinked. "Uh, no, I don't. I'm actually pretty weak in the strength department. I make up for it with the whole control over electricity thing."

Rural Falls

"He is Majestros?!"

All at once, all members of the Renegades pointed their weapons at Majestic, even as She-Hulk delivered her explanation. Once she finished, Commander Cold lowered his weapons, but all the other members kept them ready, just in case this Majestic went the way of the other one. "How did you people get here, anyway? If you're from this... other dimension, as you say."

"Much less handsome as well."

Bart said, adding on to She-Hulk's description of the Flash.

"There was this magic mirror, and we fell through it. That's, yeah, that's how we got here."

He shrugged.

"Just your standard magic portal mirror that sends people to a place where people have a reversed sense of morality. It happens."

"I believe it has something to do with pie." Majestic said plainly, hoping the situation would not turn violent. He had not entirely recovered from his fight with Majestros.

"Do we still have that mirror?" She-Hulk asked Impulse, tapping her finger against her chin. "Also, the pie thing was an example. You don't need to keep bringing it up again and again. Just an example, hun."

"I didn't grab it, and I don't think any of you did. So yeah probably not."

The prince of acceleration said to her with a nod of his head.

So the melting was legit.......

"Alright, calm down, let me get you out," Wolverine said. He then slowly and carefully pulling the gelatinous mess that was once human out from the storm drain, hoping that none of him actually broke off. "Now calm down," he said to the kid in a fatherly tone. "Stop thinking yourself as a puddle. Think of yourself as a human. Clear your mind and visualize yourself as what you once were. Start by thinking about the shape your body."

"Alright, Jonas, as you might guess, control over electricity is pretty useless against me," Thor explained, "You are a thunder mage and I am a thunder giant. We both wield thunder, but I also happen to be a giant.

"So, tell me Jonas, you against me, how do you think this will end?"

Pulson Girl was relieved that the Hero Dial wasn't in use in this world- as far as the Renegades knew. She shuddered to think what she or Robbie would be like here.

When an explanation was demanded, she interjected: "Look, all we know is that The Flash disappeared, and we assumed it was through a strange mirror Impulse found. It led us here. We are assuming it was a trap from his old foe, the Mirror Master, but the truth is, we don't know. Have you heard anything recently that could be related to that?"

A rather curt "Wait," echoed in the Black Panther's mind^* as well as Daredevil's the moment he set foot on the street below. "Security systems in place. Force field outside, cameras inside, possibly more unseen security measures. Spent time mapping the facility; I have a plan."

Starfire quickly grabbed the Weather Girl when she fell, trying to check her for injuries. Starfire glanced at the currently out of control weather and checked to see if she was awake and if not tried to rouse her.

"You need to get your storm under control!" Starfire said to the girl, trying to pick her up.

"Wait a second." She-Hulk raised her finger. "How the hell are we getting out of this bizarro universe, then?" She glanced at Pulson Girl. "You, Portal Lady. Can you poof us away from here?"
