Bakaupdates (You have to look for the manga version,) will generally give information on who is translating a series, when past releases were last released, ETC.
Basically, its exactly what you are looking for.

I love www.mangaupdates.com (Baka-Updates Manga, or BM), but are there other big comprehensive manga info sites? I'm still fairly new to this scene and I feel like there are probably huge online goldmines of manga info I'm missing. Of course some manga can be looked up on *The Other Wiki* but I'm looking for a site that has BM's strengths (cross-referencing, recommendation, and tag-sorting ability) but none of its weaknesses (clunky interface, possible blind spots). Not that I think BM does a bad job, I just want all my bases covered. I figured if anyone online would know this, TV Tropes would!
Please NOTE: I'm not looking for a place to download stuff, I want information about series. Like an IMDB for Manga.
