Some of you may or may not remember the HBO show "Happily Ever After: Fairy Tales for Every Child", a show that took well known fairy tales, lesser known stories, and then put them in different cultural settings with their own musical numbers.

I originally first saw this show at the age of 13-14, when i saw two episodes of it. However, i did not watch again since that time until i was 17-18, when i got hooked on it because of it's catchy cultural songs and it's innovative way of retelling classic stories.

What about you, how did any of you feel about this show?

Aw man, I still watch this show sometimes on HBO Family! My favorite retellings include:

  • Beauty and the Beast
  • The Frog Prince
  • Three Little Pigs
  • Red Riding Hood

Magic people, voodoo people!

Never seen it, but sounds cute. I have at least several months of HBO free, so I may just give it a look.
