-Dies from the adorableness-

I do writing, feel free to check out my stories here! https://numbugwritingblog.tumblr.com/post/686233243868102656/numbugs-shared-heroic-uniThat is simply beyond adorable...
They're really hammering in that Milla's a dog this time around - a much-appreciated step, frankly.
Moon◊Agreed, it's currently hard for me to think of her as anything but a rabbit. I also think Lilac should look a little more like a dragon, and Carol should look more like... whatever she's supposed to be.
On an unrelated note, I just noticed this thread has nothing but adorable avatars in it.

Her last name is a big giveaway that she's a dog.
It's just you never hear it spoken in-game.
Two other distinctions probably lost on the average Joe: rabbit ears tend to go straight up (albeit not always; they can droop), and rabbit paws don't have pads (while Milla's feet do - though not her hands, curiously).
Of course, Milla's orange/green color scheme probably isn't helping matters (I mean, carrots).
Moon◊Their dancing animations especially Milla's should be set to electronica. I'd watch a video with just that.
"No will to break."I'm stuck on the dragon boss in pangu lagoon on normal mode. Went from 11 lives to 2 before giving up.
The Protomen enhanced my life.Only real advice I can give is that you don't need to break all the orbs; once the giant eye is flashing, you can whack it for the kill.
You do need to break a damn lot of them, though, so you're gonna have to recognize the attack pattern (I figure you already have) and figure out how to dodge all stages of it (I expect this is where you're struggling). I know the phase with the slightly-homing fireballs always trips me up; the teeth can be easily avoided if you're running full-tilt in the center of the arena, and the giant laser is avoided with a well-timed Dragon Boost (either into it or up above it; former has trickier timing, but you can get by with the Boost's I-frames, while the latter is safer but isn't so good for the counter-attack afterward, since you'll be way up in the air when your window of opportunity opens).
Moon◊The trouble I'm having is dragon boosting horizontally when I mean to go diagonal, as well as keeping the second boost ready and not wasting it by accident by holding the button down.
And keeping the boosts ready in general since the spin attack is too ingrained in my muscle memory and using it wastes boost energy XD;
I MIGHT have to switch to casual or easy if i keep having trouble. ^^;

The Protomen enhanced my life.Little tip with the Cyclone: hit the attack button and it'll cancel into a stock aerial attack, conserving whatever energy you haven't already spent.
Moon◊Another thing: if you time your Dragon Bursts right, You can fly from one ended to the other with boosts. Witht that in mind, you can chase or charge head on to get a crapton of orbs.
If it helps, what I've always done is just flick the d pad in the general direction of where I want to go, and when Lilac does the animation in the desired direction I hold down the direction.
The boost is a little finicky , but once you get it, you get it.
Generally just wait before she charges up, then hit the direction.
"No will to break."I figured out how to dodge the homing shots. You have to stay still until they start to move at you, then run, and they'll go behind you.
Also I'm stuck again on this green robot dog thing that kills me in 4 hits. I beat the entire level just fine and then lost 9 lives on the boss.
I had to set the dragon boss to casual so I could beat it and I'll probably have to do the same here.
The Protomen enhanced my life.What level are you fighting it on, Battle Glacier?
Stay BENEATH it while it's jumping, be in the air when it lands, and be near the springs when it takes off, so when it tries to run you over you can bounce over it. And keep hitting it.
Yeah, that's the one. I have the most trouble with the green lasers.
The Protomen enhanced my life.They can't fire below the boss itself. Stand between its legs and attack the glowing, blinking eye while it's jumping slowly.
Casual just might be too easy though. Aside from some crush traps and the very occasional pit in Sky Battallion and FD Round 1 you'll be regaining health so fast it's practically impossible to die.
"No will to break."RIP game physics, it was nice knowing you.
"No will to break."Cube Laser Jumping: Milla's superior answer to the Rocket Jump.
Also I didn't know about her ability to dig up shields. That's awesome.
