Pokemon X and Y - Gen VI for the 3DS (SPOILER WARNING)

Well, looking at Dragon Quest IX, that was 3D and had lots of overworked graphics, and that was on the DS. I am kinda disappointed in Froakie, seeing as I ALWAYS choose water starters, but I need to see the evolutions.

Also: European region?

Also, that guy character looks pretty androgynous.

The grass starter looked fake at first but the in-game model looked a lot better and pretty cute.The regular artwork looks awful for it though. All the starters are cute really. The legendaries look awesome, though I like the bird more. Reminds me of Procne from Dark Dawn a little. The deer looks like a rainbow sawsbuck fused with Diagla.

It is X and Y versions. Maybe it's references to chromosomes?

I'm sure customization's in - notice the boy is standing in front of a mirror at the start - unless he got those hipster goggles as a recent present, I'm guessing the mirror will tie into changing your avatar's outfit as you see fit.

Now let's hope they include International!Battle Revolution's skin tone options, too....

I like the in-game sprites a lot too.

I was actually thinking that.

At the moment I'm going for Y, (the X makes it sound too much like forced edginess) because I like the bird better, but we'll have to see the exclusives.

One or both is probably that new type. I think that was an official rumor, but that was a while ago.

I'd prefer green hair.

Guy guy guys. The third version or sequels will not be "Z" or "X2 and Y2" or whatever. They will be POKEMON W AND Z VERSIONS. Calling it now, seriously.

I hope the protagonist's design is still in development or customizable.

also I assume that bird and stag are supposed to be the version mascots but they both look like a Y which one is supposed to be x?

And I can guess the third game already say it with me now Pokémon Z.

The bird is probably the Y legendary, because it is a red Y, which is wings and tail form, and similar markings on the logo to his wings. The deer is X, because look at his antlers to the X logo.

Also, love the fire starter not being from the chinese zodiac. That pattern had no reason to exist and probably actually didn't except in the eyes of the fans. Good riddance.

... I what I was going to say, until I saw someone point out that it could technically kinda sorta count as the dog. NOW YOU'RE JUST TRYING TOO HARD. -sob-

But anyway... I like Fennekin and Chespin. Let's see what they evolve into...

The seemed more like coincidence, the zodiac thing. Infernape and emboar had the same typing to reflect coming from the same source, Journey To The West.

The P Cs look weird though.

I'm kind of wondering now what the Japanese names are, giving that usually we learn and learn to love them before we get English names.

Chesspin looks like a Grass-type mix of Oshawott and Pachirisu to me.

But man. I'm gonna have to move fast if I want any of my Gen V dream teams complete before Gen VI comes out. I still want an Impostor Ditto, a Mummified Slaking, a Prankser Sableye, and a Sheer Force Hariyama.

As expected everyone's on the fox. It's probably my least favorite of the 3. I'm a froakie fan.

Froakies-line second typing is Flying, because they are leapfrogs and the white foam at his back is supposed to be some kind of cloud thingy. The melee attack it uses in the trailer is actually Aerial Ace.
