With the risk of sounding like a dick, but couldn't this be done in the Young Justice topic?

I guess it could but I really wanted to stay on the subject of Impulse

Just bring it up in the regular thread. People will talk to you. They're hard up for actual things to discuss right now what with the hiatus and all.

I'm going to express my opinion on the cartoon Young Justice: Invasion's handling of the character of Impulse, and I would like to know what everyone else thinks.
The episode "Bloodlines" starts off with a boy I don't recognize setting off to travel to the past. When the boy is revealed to be Impulse, I was ecstatic. Impulse was my favorite YJ character from the comics, and he had the same personality (Aside from the "crash" and "mode" catchphrases, which I'll admit were a bit annoying). They even cast one of my favorite voice actors, Jason Marsden. I was delighted that the show introduced an actual Young Justice character AND got his personality 100% right. Then it got to the ending...
In the last few minutes, it was revealed that this version of Impulse came from a post-apocalyptic future and how he had been behaving throughout the whole episode (let me reiterate, his ACTUAL PERSONALITY from the comics), was all an act. This felt like a punch to the soul and left we feeling more disappointed than I've ever been with the rest of the series. Was anyone else as upset as I was?
