have you seen SCXCR's new video on a hypothetical Bloody Roar 5?

People actually liked Fox? I thought he was easily one of the worst designs from BR 1.

Jenny is my favorite alongside Bakuryu.

When i was younger I thought Stun was the coolest,but adult me prefers jenny too

Sheena the leopard remains the best Bloody Roar character design bar none. Until her Girliness Upgrade I guess.

Xion, Sheena, Witchblade!Kasumi, and BR3!Yugo are best Bloody Roar designs.

BR 3!Gado is also a pretty good design.

Nagi the Spurious and whatshisname the edgelord are two Bloody Roar characters I dislike because they're a reminder about how the series kept trying to one-up itself by having beast forms that aren't based on regular animals as a way to make certain characters "Special".

It worked, like, the first time. But by the franchise' end they where adding more Zoanthropes that where mythological creatures or weird guyver rejects than they where furries.

But they look cool, and that's all that matters.

I was talking to a dude at work about this and we showed a guy who never played these games them and he thought the xion guy looked awesome.

I remember not liking the catgirl because it always felt lame she never turned into a full animal.

I only played one of these games (I believe it was 4) but I did enjoy it and the gimmick of a fighting game with were animals was kind of interesting to me. Hope more games get made.

So what beast forms that haven't appeared yet that you'd like to see?

Bear seems like obvious choice,Tekken has Kuma so maybe they did'mt want to be seen as copying too much?

Yeah, you're crazy. Bloody Roar is the best one.

(I have only played 2 for any significant amount of time and have huge nostalgia for it so it wins by default.)

i would recommend both Bloody Roar 3 and Primal Fury, if you haven't tried them. gameplay wise, they expand on what 2 did.

Bloody Roar 2's demo was the first Playstation 1 demo i remember playing,so it's my favourite one,it probably is a overrated but its better then last title they released

Is Shenlong's beast form supposed to be a white tiger? It appears purple but I've seen it referred to as a white tiger.

Depends on which game, and which skin are you using; I mostly remember his fur being an unusual dark-blue / purplish color. Might be because of him being a clone of the original Long.

Speaking of which... why hasn't this game appeared on anybody's digital storefront yet? It's not THAT obscure of a franchise, and a simple port of the later games with working multiplayer code might be enough to kickstart interest!

I dun wanna play the later games though. I still say Bloody Roar 2 is the best game in the series.

Bloody Roar 2 had a decent story and fun gameplay,it is the very definition of improved sequel

Oh hey this topic is a Thing. So. Um. Hi. This series is my current hyperfixation and I very much want to actually play at least one game but because the series has been dead for years they are all oh so expensive. Where I really wanna start is 2 because it recently got a very good fanmade redub which includes the likes of Kayli Mills, Kira Buckland, and Xander freaking Mobus. Check it out if you haven't already! My only complaint is that the stellar voice acting does not extend to the story mode cutscene story board things but eh

Also holy shit I forgot I posted here wayyy back when? I guess my talking about a hypothetical voice cast for a possible sequel/reboot somehow manifested the redub of 2 or something idk I'm rambling
