There's something different about the art...

Also, can anyone translate or decrypt the runic?

The runic says "Jotun Modir" or "Mother of Giants", basically in-universe equivalent to "Holy Shit!". The art seems a bit rougher, though this scene is certainly more muted. here for instance you can still see the rough underlines on Odin's legs. I'm just glad it's back. Here's hoping it sticks.

Well, now we're getting to the good stuff!

Pedri has to be freaking out over there, albeit quietly. It's VERY OBVIOUSLY his wife lying there, and going by how Wrathia described the potions ages ago, there was basically no guarantee any of them would ever see each other again, since "the next being that came to life" could be anywhere in the galaxy, or galaxies. Really, it's incredible that there's actually FOUR within walking distance of each other right now; perhaps they subconsciously attract each other somehow?

So... Ava's back, right? But are Wrathia's upgrades sticking around?

I'm a bit sad how the past few months of updates have been only a few pages/panels each week, but honestly I'm just happy that we're moving forward once again. That hiatus was terrible.

Pretty sure Michelle confirmed that, yes.

I actually emailed Michelle with a suggestion that she use the Seven Virtues. She said she liked the idea, but couldn't, sadly.

Found out about this yesterday, and I love it. The art, the story, the characters....

So, we may finally get to see Olai. Can't wait.

Update. No Olai, but we've basically received confirmation that the Arrows are or once were royalty. Odin has a nice portrait. Also, we finally get to see Merita, Crow's date who was mentioned oh-so-long-ago. If they weren't the same age, dating what's probably the family's maid would be more questionable...

There seems to be another inscription beneath the one of Odin's name. I think it says "The crown prince" but I'm not too sure. Though the posture, crown, and other regalia do suggest that's the correct interpretation.

Edit: It says "The Young Prince" and what appears to be a date which is illegible

Going by Crow and Raven's comments, those appear to be Olai's doing. Perhaps he doesn't approve of Odin.

it's a wonder he puts up with them. well, its probably for magpie.

Shit, the new update, she and Ava almost kissed! They're getting all touchy feely with each other....

It's creeping me right out, because Wrathia did....the whole, try to kill Ava thing?

Granted, being stuck in the body of somebody who does their best to ignore you gotta suck.

Doesn't make it any less messed up, though. :/

Also, did they almost kiss or did the perspective just change to meatspace and then back again? We'll probably never know.

Because, remember, Wrathia tried to kill Ava a few times. Drove everyone away from her.

It really isn't okay for anyone to support that sort of pairing!

Considering Ava is reveling in killing a building full of people, including many probably innocent bystanders, I don't think we're supposed to consider it healthy.

Also, Wrathia laughing at Ava for thinking murder sprees are not pringles.

Something people on Tumblr pointed out: Ava is 15 - which makes the whole sequence even more messed up.

Though to be fair, I assume that was the author's intention.

I think people forget sometimes that Ava and Wrathia are the same person, Ava has become vulnerable to her dark side.

shes momentarily falling in love with her inner self, the terrible things she has wrought, in this moment she has given up

pretty easy to forget, yeah.

considering they're literally not the same person. in any other context besides sharing the same body.

metaphorically, it works tho, so eh.
