I want to try and write something that feels as cool and classy as a lot of works from the 30's , 40's and 50's, but where I can still have some fun using steampunk/magitek to make up crazy inventions.
Could anyone possibly recommend some good source material? Books or movies that would help me capture that feeling of 'swelegance'?
