Yeah, I wouldn't bet against the ponies this time either. Which is a darned shame, since I actually like the concept of this competition.

This time, however, The Hub was wise (Or Foolish) enough to exclude Ponies from most of the categories, I think. The competition is still hosted by Pinkie Pie and Discord, though.

Well, they did win last year.

But, really, let's give the other shows a chance, huh?

Last year I voted for optimus prime, I mean, who's a bigger good than him? but nope, the ponies won. I hope this year someone else wins.

If the ponies nearly swept last year, I think that's fair to give others a chance. Having Discord and Pinkie Pie host is a reasonable concession. I haven't had a chance to check it out yet, but if there are Care Bears characters on there, that's probably where at least some of my votes will go. I'd definitely put Wonderheart Bear on the nice list.

God, they made it hard to vote in some of the categories. Most Villainous Use of Powers was especially difficult, because you have a choice between two different-yet-effective kinds of changelings... and Tim Curry.

That's the point. It has to be hard. If they wanted it to be easy they would have just spammed ponies. The Bronies would have voted for them while the haters against them.

Someone who still hangs around brony sites, let us know the bronies' reaction to the lack of ponies this year.

I dont hang around brony sites. Im just using common sense. The "Sane" bronies may be a bit sad that there are no ponies this year, but they are kind of content with Pinkie Pie and Discord hosting. The INSANE bronies...I dont want to know.

Yeah, from the places I've had my ear to the ground it's pretty clear that we kind of overwhelmed the competition a little too badly, and this is a good way to please everyone. I try not to pay attention to the insane bronies either.

That, and I personally still have baaaaad memories of the Gamefaqs tournaments that were always, always won by Link, Cloud, and Sephiroth.
