For the Nakamura thing, I worded it as "The dirty old man middle schooler" or something like that. It's completely not meant to be taken seriously, so I figure you can translate it as whatever you want. I've previously described her as being Milly Ashford-esque so I guess that's where you'd look for tropes?

I wanted to add it since Nakamura barely has any tropes but nevermind. Her main traits are, well, dirty mind and the fact that she's one those "gifted kids" that crash in higher education since they've never had to study before (Like Karma). The slacker, Lazy genius and Dismotivation could work here, but it is a bit of a stretch. The last line could be interpreted as that too: Old man = lazy, dirty mind.

I was looking for a trope as in "female pervert" but it seems there isn't an exact trope for that. Most of the stuff I add comes from the character profiles and extras, a lot of it isn't trope worthy at times (that's one of the reasons that Mimura has nearly no tropes, for example), but since I'm not accurate at translations, so I apologize for any goofs.

Their personalities do tend towards subtlety. I've been slowly compiling a "supernotes" file that catalogues all the pages where a character appears, has lines, or "actually does something" just so that I can pick out those subtle details. Needless to say, it's rather arduous.

So, you should have all the answers now, right? In 24 hours I'm going to go ahead and delete all the answers I've given, and you should probably do the same.

Oh, and one more very important thing. When you post the puzzle on other sites, remember to bold all the parts that I have bolded in the explanation. Every single one is an important clue. (scrambled letters/chapters 1-52/tankobon extras/1-2-3)

I actually had thought of making a supernotes thing like the one you said. Heck, I actually made one, albeit for shipping reasons. The number of shipping moments in the series were around 6, and with a lot of stretching. Most of them were about 2 characters. And no, surprisingly it wasn't Nagisa and Kayano, despite her satellite Love Interest status.

About the last thing, some japanese posters complained that (before Kayano time came out of course) her only reason to be in the story was to make sure people stopped thinking Nagisa was gay.

Nagisa just can't get a break, can he...

I finally made Matsui's creator page after being indecisive over the spelling of his first name. Wow, I had no idea that he was Yoshio Sawai's assistant until I did the research. When I first read AC, my first impression of the series was that it was crazy and fun just like Bobobo, except somehow the entire premise made perfect sense.

Looks like you guys revamped the SCRAP puzzle. Time for me to take another whack at it, then.

Yeah, you read that right. Most of the profiles list an special talent and or hobby on that part (drawing, dancing, singing, etc.) and Nakamura declared that on there. Daily basis apparently, according to 2ch.

Matsui looks really young! I imagined someone completely different appearance wise. Thank you for creating the page! It looks great.

About the SCRAP puzzle, yeah, revamped. Have a crack at it, but I warn you, it's really difficult.

Heh, you'd think that after everything he's done so far, Nagisa would be the LAST person she'd want to tease. I've seen a few of these profiles and extras floating around the internet and I can't wait to finally get my hands on them in...December, I think? It took 'em long enough to bring the series over.

Thanks! I'll work on relevant potholes and re-directs later. Tell me about it; I thought he'd look like a dude in his late 30's. Now I gotta know how old he is...*goes on another Google spree* He's 33.

I filled out the quiz several weeks ago, but I didn't know where to go from there so I gave up. I'll try not to fizzle out so soon on my second attempt.

A (kinda) heartwarming headcanon about Nagisa and the class. Despite the bloodlust, the assasination, and everything else, he's still the same friend they knew before. So they won't act differently.

And also, she usually doesn't tease people in a perverted way, sure, she's the class clown, but Nakamura acts like that with Nagisa, and only him so far. Seeing other people acting perverted (Okajima for example) grosses her out. People on blogs said that it reminds them of when little boys make fun of the girl that they like or something, but gender-swapped and perverted. I'm not really sure what that means.

About the extras, I'll post information of the profiles at least, since I have them all up to Vol 8. If you find 9 somewhere please tell me :) There's some stuff thats it's difficult to translate, so unless I'm sure of what it said there is correct, I can't post it.

I imagined Matsui looking like...well, more mangaka like, you know? Sorry for the stereotype, but I imgained a fat, pale dude with glasses, not that. And given how old Neuro is, I also imagined the dude would be on his forties or something .

Hmmm, I wonder, maybe I'd be better to ask Montegoraron about that, I just don't know.

Profiles for volumes 1, 2, 3, 4 and 6 have already been done (though not all of the mini-profiles at the start of the volumes). I've got extras for volumes 7 and 8 in the works, but I'm holding off for some free time when I can do a bunch of scans. (And there's also the final two parts of the SCRAP puzzle to do) Some of these one-off jokes are kinda funny, but you can't really get them without seeing the picture.

Okay, okay. You get ONE more hint. It's just how some of the information you already have relates to each other, but I feel like I'm practically giving it away with this one. As I mentioned in the description, the answer is ?????? ???. That's two words, first word six letters, second word 3, for a total of nine. The quiz has 27 questions. Solving it is as easy as 1-2-3. I'd suggest reorganizing the answers in some way to figure them out.

I think I've solved it.

Overall, Nagisa is a really sweet kid. The bloodlust that makes people flinch feels like an inherent skill, not something that stems from sociopathic or malicious intent; looks like Nakamura is in the clear after all. I like her playful, upbeat personality and I hope we see more of her in the future. This manga does a very good job at making "perverted" characters not gross or disturbing (especially Okajima and Koro-sensei).

Actually, I stereotype successful mangaka to appear somewhat older than they really are due to stress, but that's about it. Now that I think about it, it's impressive that Matsui was only around 24 when he started Neuro.

You guys take your time with that extra content; I'll continue searching for the notebook where I wrote down those answers, which I still haven't found yet. I even wrote them down in three columns of 9 answers and still didn't make that association... *facepalms*

Japanese fans are convinced there's a triangle involving Nagisa Kayano and Nakamura :D. If that ever crosses into the manga it might be interesting, but then again the manga isn't about that :). Still pleases mad shippers like me.

You're right on Koro-sensei and Okajima, he does a great job putting them on those roles and still keep them likeable. Usually those type of characters (ultrapowered, the pervert,etc) are difficult to put in stories well since they can come easily as grating.

24? Wow, given that he also was an assistant for a really successful manga, he started really young in this now did he. I'm still surprised by his young appearance.

The other students are okay with Nagisa because his killing intent is always pointed outward, never inward. It's obvious that he thinks of the rest of the class as his team. Maybe even his family. They still get a little nervous when he's really pissed off, but since he's never turned his talents against them, they have no reason to really be afraid of him.

Thank you! I'm still giving you credit through :) Just a small thing, I remembered the Hayami one because her hobbie was unexpected, I had translated Jazz dance instead of justice, but I could be wrong.

...You're absolutely right. It should be jazz dance. My eyes must have seen one thing and read another. I'm guessing chapter 89 primed them for that, what with the certain secret revealed there. I just think it's great that one of the kids has a name that if you wrote it you'd always be tempted to do so in ALL CAPS.

Hey, you're right! Anybody would be tempted to do that, the name is pretty imposing after all. Also, now it makes sense where we find ALL CAPS kid in that chapter. It's kinda cool, at least for me, maybe my name taste is terrible like those parents hahaha. That's some foreshadowning from Matsui btw.

About the Hayami thing, the mistake is absolutely understandable, since phonetically it's very similar and nobody would associate Hayami with that. Maybe is a relaxation thing? Suddenly I got reminded of the song She's a Maniac and it's video. That would be amusing.

Through if it actually were justice she has as a hobby, would that mean that she goes superhero like helping folks and catching criminals in a weird outfit?. Now that would be amusing as hell.

Yeah. I wonder what the timeline of ideas is here. That profile reveals Kimura gets colds often and hates hospitals, and it was released months before 89 when it became relevant in story. The same thing happened with Muramatsu's profile in volume 6, which revealed he was the best boy in home ec, and that was way before it came up in chapters 87 and 88.

The Terasaka's group Home Ec. abilities actually make perfect sense now. Muramatsu excels in cooking, Hazama has great memory, since she reads so much, Yoshida's is good with machinery and Teraska's great at making people work. I wonder if there are other cases like this ones? It's like Matsui revealed everything he could about the characters and made every minor thing work story wise, if it is in purpose, then he's a genius.
