Wake Up, Go to School & Save the World
hashtagsarestupidExcellent! Are we using the school Karl Kadaver came up with: Brook's Pass? Or some other place?
We will be using Karl Kadaver's Brook's Pass. Hogwats is booked out for the summer.
hashtagsarestupidGreat. Now we just have to hope that those interested come back and we get more players. Calisera is not designed to be a solo adventuress.
BTW, any chance we might run into Highbinders?
I don't know, there doesn't seem to be too many story opportunities to do with the highbingers, they're just jackholes.
hashtagsarestupidMaybe they can try to recruit the characters? Cali is a princess after all so there's that angle for her, and for the others, they might want a new generation of talent? Just a thought.
Yeah that could work, I would rather keep the in game dealth toll low so my image of the Highbinders would be more elitist blow hards then magically powered death squads. For a real world reference think the british national party rather then the Ku Klux Klan.
hashtagsarestupidCool. :)
Any idea yet of when we'll be starting?
Well I was hoping to get more to sign up before we started but they hasn't been too much buzz.
We could start the campaign tomorrow mysteries, but it would be just the two of us.

hashtagsarestupid- sigh* Yeah. Hopefully seeing an active game will get more people involved, and Karl and Taco will come back to play.
Karl and Taco: Why have you forsaking us so?
Ah well at least we can get some of the prep work sorted out, have you ever play a form based a RPG before mysteries?

hashtagsarestupidSounds great!
What age range is acceptable for students of Brook's Pass?
Welcome to the thread Tyciol
To answer your question the general age for a student is between 12 to 15, although like most witch schools Brooks Pass recognises that students do not advance at a uniform rate and students as young as eight and as old as 18 are admitted with special consideration.
hashtagsarestupidFluff aside the core book does have rules for reflecting younger and older witches if anyone wants to play a 'realistic' character. Although personally I would prefer to keep everyone's power levels the same regardless of age.
The rules for younger and older characters are as follows:
- Neophyte (age 6-10)
- Lower Body die by one type
- Lower Will die by one type
- Half Skill points
- Half Magic Type Ranks
- Apprentice (age 14-15)
- Rise Will die by one type
- Add +4 Mundane skills
- Add +4 Magical skills
- Add +1 Allowance
- Intern (age 16-18)
- Rise Magic attribute die by one
- Raise Will or Social die by one
- Add +8 Mundane skills
- Add +8 Magical skills
- Add +8 Magical ranks
- +2 Allowance
I'm still working on my character just so you know joey. It's taking longer than expected! I may send you what I have so far...
"Who am I, Elisha Otis?"I'm a Neophyte :)
Healers gonna Heal http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pm.php?all=1Our witches coven grows in number
hashtagsarestupidIt's nice to see more players. I hope you'll enjoy the game! :)
Well, having established at least the game, what themes do we want to explore? Slice-of-life? Magical adventure? Discuss.
