Linking to illegal sites is frowned upon here.
Regardless, that Pink Hornet lady makes for a total of 6 confirmed female Heroes: Tatsumaki, Fubuki, Lily, Tank Top Girl, the C Class girl from the train OVA, and Pink Hornet.

We can no longer count them on a single hand, sans certain developmental anomalies. Truly, a milestone.
I cannot tell if that was serious or a joke. Nothing Mangastream does to my knowledge is illegal; they just translate mangas
I'm pretty sure 'Stream is illegal by translating and distributing the manga without any revenue going to the mangaka. I'm like 85% sure.
One-Punch Man is released in Japanese online for free, so in this case the only people not getting money are Vis Media, who just translate the thing officially.
So at worst the scanlators are just undercutting the competition.
Huh. I could've sworn there was some controversy regarding that site, 'Panda, and a few others in the One Piece thread not too long ago regarding their lack of legality.
Oh, yeah, there are a bunch of sites that had to pull OPM because of legal issues. My point was that for OPM those legal issues are really dumb.
I like how King in his own subtle way punishes Saitama for what he said about how Teamwork never works.
And then there is Genos's "Teams are for the weak". Damn Cybog dude, calm down a little.
The best part is when Saitama suggests it, Genos is immediately gung-ho for the idea.
I think the problem with the team dynamic here is that A) Saitama is unfit for a team being literally Too OP Plz Nerf and B) Is that the Hero Organization is generally run by incompetence who probably couldn't assign a proper team together.
Isn't Fubuki's group generally more successful as a team?
Truthfully, part of me thinks Saitama wasn't really being serious enough, due to well, being Saitama, so it makes sense those guys didn't really think much of him.
Then the plot has him do what he always does and makes him seem right. Teams are dumb and so are you. I'm not really sure what the story was trying to say. It's not that those guys were weak. It's that they weren't properly prepared because the threat they thought there were facing was much stronger than what they were told, and they were lied to about why others wanted it, meaning they were holding back.
If they'd known that it was stronger than what they were prepared for, they would have never been there, or at least been prepared to actually fight.
One Strip! One Strip! The Fubuki Group is more like 'the Fubuki Group pretends to do something until Fubuki shows up and handles the problem while they cheer on the sidelines and do absolutely nothing'. They're great as comic relief, but Mumen Rider has a better record of getting shit done.
Wasn't that information withheld by one of the Hero Org guys who wanted to just make money off of it?
Exactly. From what I could tell, they had a good plan, but they were going off false info, so they stood no chance.
That's not their fault though, nor is the fact that it's threat level was higher than what they were told.
By the way, what are the threat levels again, and how do they apply to Hero ranks again? I'm not too clear on that.
One Strip! One Strip! It's not so much that Saitama is right that teams are dumb, just that it acknowledges his point of view as being entirely legitimate and then it makes the counter-argument when Saitama is dying of poison with King refusing to help him. Sometimes teamwork is great, sometimes the individual members would be better off alone.

Well, as this chapter revealed, the Hero association is really being run by a scientist of dubious character who pushes the incompetent officials around like chess pieces.
It's just that the threat levels tend to be a bit unfair.Even A ranks can have trouble with Tiger threats.
Secret SignatureFar as I can tell, it's:
C Rank Heroes should never fight Monsters outside of the really weak Wolf Ranked ones.
B Rank Heroes should be able to take down Wolves, and their higher ranks can beat Tigers alone while their lower ranks need teamwork.
A Rank Heroes should be able to take down Tigers, and their higher ranks can beat Demons alone while their lower ranks need teamwork.
S Rank Heroes should be able to take down Demons, and their higher ranks can beat Dragons alone while their lower ranks need teamwork.
Only Saitama could beat a God Rank threat because, by definition, a God Rank threat would have to be a threat to Saitama in order to be a threat to all of humanity.

Saitama's point about teams being useless is only true for him because he's so OP that he can brute force anything he doesn't have the finesse or skills for. And even then, he still has glaring weaknesses that could be better covered by team members. Like his inability to capture something alive. Or dealing with cats and mosquitoes.

So in other words, he's become arrogant because of his power. Sure, he'll still help people with no hesitation, and is an incredibly nice guy, but in this particular case (thinking he can do everything on his own, because he kinda can), he's very arrogant.
One Strip! One Strip!I always figured he was more resigned. Like when nothing can beat you, what point is there in trying anything new?
He seemed up for the team idea but didn't really focus or pay attention, instead just being himself.
That's true. He wasn't taking it seriously because he knew he could end it easily, but since no one knows how strong he is, it just made him look like an idiot.
You know, I'd have liked it if, instead of Saitama just doing his thing like he always does, the Heroes somehow found a way to beat and capture the monster anyway using their team work, making him realize that yeah, it does have it's place, and while it's not for him, that doesn't mean it's dumb.
I think I would have preferred that.
One Strip! One Strip!A team for Saitama would be actually be a really good idea, if only because that probably means there'd be people dedicated to limiting collateral damage.

Any of them you like?
Like personally I like the Origin of Saitama's super suit. And "The Cyborg Who Talked Too Much", seriously those mobsters weren't thinking straight shooting a cyborg.
