Yes, the Disney XD block that's mainly known for being the counterpart to DC nation(honestly could they have picked a more unmemorable title?). From what I've heard, it seems to be a successor for Jetix in some respects.

Thoughts?

I like MU's live action segments a lot more than DCN's. It looks like they put a lot more time and effort into those. The how-to-draw segments are probably the best. I also really like Marvel Mashup, if only because of the novelty of having an Abridged Series with professional voice actors.

The Fury Files are also a cool way of making it all mesh together. Sort of a framing device for the block. Of course, that doesn't really compare to the DCN shorts. Overall the block is solid, but it's shows are, in my opinion, worse than the ones on DCN. It's wrapping up the second season of A:EMH, which just hasn't been as good as it used to be. And then there's Ultimate Spider-Man, which is divisive at best.

Was watching some Fury files, and found that the Disney XD youtube channel screwed up the title of one of them.

http://youtu.be/-mAb21hs4R4 Seriously? Black Panther?!

I'm admittedly bothered that every hero seems to be a part of shield, when SHIELD is usually more of an uneasy ally than THE hero organization. The tension is supposed one of the mainstays of the relationship between superheroes and shield right?

[up] It depends on what 'verse we're talking about. The heroes have less affiliation with SHIELD in the classic comics but in the Ultimate Universe, most of the heroes are connected to SHIELD in some way or another. And because the Ultimate Universe has had such an impact on the movies, the Marvel Cinematic Universe also has the heroes given closer ties to SHIELD.

Ultimate Spider-Man was very heavily informed by the movies so that's probably why SHIELD has such a huge presence in the show.
