From what I recall her reason is that since she’s pretty much accomplished her career path, she figured why not focus on her personal life.
Makes sense really, Empire is at its strongest, & she’s it’s strongest with no equal so why not choose this opportunity to find love?
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."So got around to finishing Zero Here is pretty a general summary
After Green's Death
Akame has her fateful encounter with Najenda. After a brief fight with Aniki and Najenda 'still using pumpkin
Najenda gets through to Akame about the Empire
Akame tries to convince Tsukushi to come with her... and Kushi tells this to Gozuki
Akame realizes she's been betrayed, knocks Tsukushi out and flees with an also knocked out Kurome
Gozuki easily catches her and aafter an intense fight
Akame is able to kill Gozuki by shattering her blade and making him cut himself with the Murasame
Akame then calls him out on this... and Gozuki admits he threw the fight so Akame would Escape with Kurome and Tsukushi and Tells her to take his sword, He already knows it will accept her as its master.
unfortunately Tsukushi arrives in time to find Gozuki already dead and missed the important part and just well Zones out with You killed Daddy rage
Akame in a moment of desperation and being pin down by Tsukushi's shots and Impeiral goons... Kills Tsukushi
However the exhustion forces her off a cliff and she is seperated from Kurome
Akame's body is found by Night raid's newest recruit... MINE
Akame comes too in Night Raid HQ being tended to by Leone... and in like a 5 page heartbreaker BAWLS HER SOUL OUT when the realization hits that she killed Tsukushi out of instinct and why couldn't she make her understand!!!
Akame Joins Night Raid with her trademark outfit... while... Kurome goes off the deep end
The final Chapter sees that Poney survive and head East, Najasho also leaves the rebel army and heads East aswell 'He pops up as a Tenrou Star in Hn C! Poney hasn't shown up yet
Akame encounters Kurome whose completely bonkers now and using her new undead puppets
in a later mission Akame kills some fools before finding intel on a certain pretty noble girl who is apparently slaughtering visitors to the capital.
and Three Friends set out from a lonely isolated village
Zero ends
I'm A Pervert not an Asshole!Hinowa ga Crush! back at it
Chapter 20 is out but its like two chapter ahead f the translator
18 sees the introduction of our Jaegars and The King of Tenrou himself 'who in a contrast is pretty much Buff Nobunaga from Kessen 3
and His Ten Stars
honestly this seems to be a much better introduction to then what was done with the Jagears 'though to be fair, The Stars clearly known each other while Wave was bumbling from introduction to introduction plus
Also Tenrou is less the Stagnant Empire is eroding from corruption while everything goes to hell 'IE Fallen Rome'
Tenrou is more of a Warring States China/Japan trying to unite all the disperate countries intoself ' and the landmass just happens to look like Korea' then again Everything about this setting is Feudal Asia 'taking of commanders' Heads to prove victory'
Never Trust a girl who keeps her eyes closed
I'm A Pervert not an Asshole! The reason they are interested in Soukai is to get a Sea Route which would help with their other campaigns. Honestly they are not an outright evil like Honest's Empire from Akame.
That makes sense
especially when you consider all the trouble russia went through to get a 'Warm' water port via petersburg 'IE turning a swamp into a city'
I'm A Pervert not an Asshole!when you betray an ally just cause you didn't win the Princess
I'm A Pervert not an Asshole!Evil Babes of Hinowa Ga Crush◊
I'm A Pervert not an Asshole!I remember absolutely loathing this anime once upon a time but
- Tatsumi and Wave's similarities
- Esdeath the main villain falling in love with the main character
- Characters dying left and right
- A balance of comedy, violence, and drama

Akira Toriyama (April 5 1955 - March 1, 2024).Why was Hinowa ga Crush Cut Short, by the way? Poor sales?
Pretty much
Poor sales at home, did alright internationally but just wasn't strong enough to keep going.
It doesn't help that the plot is a rather slow starter... and well you don't have the crazy teigu powers to fall back on to give the characters a niche.
I'm A Pervert not an Asshole!Yeah, that makes sense. Bit of a shame though, I thought it had quite a few plots that could go to interesting places - such as one of Hinowa's pals trying to pull a Suzaku (in a "the Big Bad is too strong, so instead of trying to defeat him, I'll join him and try to change The Empire from the inside" way).
Plus, it kinda gave me the impression that Hinowa was running the risk of Jumping Off the Slippery Slope.

At least Mato Seihei no Slave is doing well.
I'm guessing biological clock blues. Granted, Esdeath as a mother is disturbing in its own right, but there's no reason she would see it that way.
