Just a Face and a Caption: Fake Ultimate Hero

The picture relies too much on the caption and knowledge of who the character is. He has a vaguely smarmy expression, but that tells us nothing since many actual hero characters can also be smug and smarmy. Looking at the old Image Pickin thread for this, it also ended with a decision to perform no action due to no consensus, but the page's own history shows that a series of images were placed with no discussion in spite of that.

I vote to pull.

Not quite; the thread ended with no decision beyond pulling the Ciaphas Cain cover, so technically the page was wide open for people to add a pic. That said, I agree that the current really doesn't cover enough of the trope and needs to go.

It doesn't show fake, but it does show he's putting on an act, or at least has the media at his beck and call, and he's shown to look somewhat heroic.

I'd say it's very weak, but it's not misleading or harms the page in any way, so I'm going with Keep Until Better Image Suggested.
