So the Red Shirt schools taken out in the first round are Waffle Academy (obviously Belgium.), Koala Academy (Obviously Australia.) Blue Division (Spain) Yogurt Academy (Bulgaria), Viking Fisheries (Norway), Bonple (Poland).

No sign of Maple (Canada).

Also I gotta say those Blue Division uniforms... yowza.

There's no way they gave Nao Touyama to voice Eclair and not doing anything more with her.

Are japanese students graduating around this time? Because my twitter timeline is being flooded by art of Japanese fans of the third years graduating.

It's the one-hour fanart drawing time; the time when a bunch of fanartist draw fanarts in 60 minutes based on a theme. The theme of the current event is "Graduation" because highschoolers are having graduation right now. Just see that particular hastag for more fanarts.

Glad to have also seen the second movie for myself now, it was very enjoyable. Scrolling through the thread, one of the bloggers linked seems to have also done a detailed talk on it, which was a nice read with insights into the small details that few would consider. All in all, it's a good run, and as others have said before me, that wait is going to be something else unless we're lucky.

So, I just realized: the second FINALE movie takes place on Christmas… and Alice and Miho are clearly having a date at the Boko museum.

Apparently, there's a recent resurgence of cassette tapes in Japan.

It's also probably an in-joke to the fact all of the Chihatan girls are somewhat technologically backwards.

The official site updated yesterday.

We have the real names of Anteater and Leopon Teams and all the listed Chihatan girls, including three new members (the commander of the second Ka-Mi, and Fukuda's driver and gunner).

Das Finale Chapter 3 is now available along with the OVA Daikon War, and both are a great experience. Chi-ha Tan did very well during the match, only losing because they were over-confident after taking out Miho, and Keizoku is actually a pretty fierce opponent as well. I can't believe Anglerfish team got taken out this early in the match. I finished reading a great discussion of the details in Chapter 3, the reviewer is absolutely right about how Kuromorimine's way forward is to adapt rather than insist on sticking to the Nishizumi-ryu. The reviewer also provides a summary of what happens in the OVA, which ends up being a fun experience despite the lack of tankery antics.
