So, it's over. Like, the entire franchise is over. I assume

Return of Kings was... alright. Still had some good animation and a few neat moments, but it had more problems than the earlier installments. Animation was rougher, there wasn't enough plot for 13 episodes, and it had serious difficulty balancing all the characters. Also, I agreed with Nagare

I feel like there are some loose ends for like a possible ova.

That was a reasonable ending to the series. While I much prefer the first series, Return of Kings was still entertaining and I did like all the green clan characters that were introduced. Personally I would have liked the series to have been longer so that they could have developed the characters better but what we got was good enough with the animation and the music both being great.

Hello.

So... six months after Return of Kings. I know my opinions on it have changed a lot since then.

And they announced Seven Stories. A new animation project, no more details yet.

And there's a stage play of Lost Small World (Saruhiko and Misaki prequel novel). I hope they make an anime movie of that, because that would be amazing. It's mostly character development, and it's really good.

I made this Idolized Julius Kingsley icon back when Akito first came out, and now that the crossover is actually happening, I don't care.

Bump for Misaki's birthday?

...Anyone? This series is so amazing and it feels like no one really cares all that much about it...

It was fine, but its over, and it really probably isn't all that memorable for anything other then the animation....

A) it's not over, they announced a new animation called K: Seven Stories. No word yet on what it's about, but it's coming.

Also, the "Lost Small World" stage play, based on the SaruMi prequel novel.

and B... yes, it is memorable. Besides the fact that that's subjective and you can't just say something isn't memorable just because you didn't like it. I love the writing and the characters. The characters are some of the best in anything I've ever seen.

The problem is that you really need to read the side materials to get more information about them. But it does have a big enough fanbase to get plenty of magazine covers and two premium figure pairs in Japan, so clearly I'm not the only one who finds it memorable.

The series certainly was watchable, but I felt it had more potential that it didn't hit. Still, I'm waiting to see what'll come out for the 10th anniversary.
