"Alright!" Black Star said, pumping his fist in the air, grinning. "Finally, something interesting to do! Still not in my level, but I suppose we could take care of it, right, Tsubaki?"

"Right!" Tsubaki said, nodding and standing up. "Which way to this... jump jet?"

"What?! We need to wait even more?!" Black Star asked, facepalming. "Why is it we have to wait for everything in this place? I bet I could get to our objective in less time just using my legs!"

Raoh didn't know what a 'Gojira' was, but the news that they would be five minutes late meant that he was unwilling to postpone leaving. Raoh was a bit worried about Black Stars impatience. While Raoh didn't doubt that Black Star was a skilled warrior, that kind of attitude could have dire consequences.

But this was not the time for such thoughts. He stood up and followed whoever would be taking them to the jump jet.

"Gojira? As in the big dinosaurs from that movie series?" asked Nanoha, perplexed. "Strange, but very, very beatable. As to the jump-jet: I won't be needing it. I would, however, be needing permission from Tokyo Air Traffic Control to fly in city bounds. That way, I will be arrive there even faster than the jet. I think so, anyway."

"My armour can fly, but I'll need time to suit up. I can do that and fly to the target area, " she suggested, "It shouldn't be too much trouble to make up for the changing time."

"Unless there is any other information that might be helpful, I'll go and prepare, " Sumire announced as she stood and prepared to rush to the nearest area where she could prepare for battle.

Mr. Mendou seemed a bit concerned when Nanoha seemed to dismiss Gojira as a "movie series". "I realize that some of you are too young to remember the last time Gojira destroyed Tokyo, but do not underestimate its children. Don't be fooled by the fictionalized accounts."

Captain Bright's concerns were more down to earth. "Miss Nanoha, Ms. Kanzaki, do you know the location of Kabakawa Village? We don't have you linked into the communications network yet, so even if you did arrive faster than a Mach Two jet, we wouldn't be able to give you new intel or know what happened if you're injured. I'd ask that you ride with the others at least until you're close to the village."

Kim had opened the door to the west, beyond which was some sort of circular platform, with what would be waist-high railings on a average human. "This is the elevator to the hangar, folks!" The whine of a jet engine warming up could be heard.

((Those that move into the elevator area will see that the ceiling has a hole in it for the elevator to raise to—it's an easy jump for ninja and other agile sorts. If the Spirit Armor needs to be put on by hand, it's already been brought up to the hangar.))

"Very well," said Nanoha. "Raising Heart, please."
"Standby ready. Set up," announced the Device, floating upwards. Nanoha disappeared in a flash of light, and when it was gone, she was wearing a frillier, somewhat armoured version of her school uniform — her Barrier Jacket — and holding a long white staff with pink ends; its head was C-shaped, golden, and held a red jewel in its middle, as well as sporting two exhausts near its base and a clip not unlike a rifle's opposite to them.
"Axel Mode. Barrier Jacket Aggressive Mode," noted Raising Heart.
Ready for combat, Nanoha stepped onto the elevator.

Aikawa Ayumu

He quickly headed to the elevator. Ayumu wasn't one to waste time in the face of danger. The pink chainsaw was lifted easily while he just wondered exactly how hard of a fight this would be compared to the stuff he fought back home. Stepping onto the elevator he blankly stared while he was lost in thought.

Raoh too wasted no time in going to the elevator. As he stood, he thought about whether these foes would be worthy of facing Hokuto Shinken or if they'd even be affected by it. He couldn't truly expect dinosaurs (he was still confused about this, actually) to have their pressure points in the same places that humans did, though he didn't doubt that they did have them.

If one or both of the liaisons entered the elevator, Raoh turned to them and asked "What abilities do G-Spawn posses? Also, if I'm understanding this correctly, G-Spawn are the infants of a much larger animal, correct? Should we capture or kill them, and what's the likely hood of their...mother?...responding to their cries?" after taking his place at the back (he didn't want to get in anyone's way, after all; especially not at a time like this). If neither of them entered he just took his place and kept quite unless he was specifically addressed.

"Alright!" Black Star yelled, jumping from his seat and running towards the elevator area. Not wanting to wait, he quickly got to work on climbing the hole in the ceiling with some very impressive jumps. Tsubaki was about to follow him when Raoh mentioned that the G-Spawn might have a mother. "You don't want us to kill children, do you?!" she asked, turning to Bright with a furrowed brow. "Even if they're of a different species, they're still children."

It would be best to deploy the Spirit Armour nearer to the site of the monsters' attack, so that crucial reiryoku wasn't spent just traveling from the Hall. That conclusion being reached, Sumire wasted no further time standing around talking about the situation with everyone. She retrieved a metal case that contained her Spirit Armour and gave the frequency information for her communications array to the relevant techies. As she stepped onto the elevator she overheard the discussion turn to slightly more moral issues about the G-Swarm. Even as she prepared to activate the still-experimental auto-suiting option for her armour, Sumire felt a need to voice her opinion.

"What about our children that are in the path of these... beast's.. children, if that is what they are? We have a duty to protect them, don't we?" she remarked, "Murdering anyone's children is abhorrent, but I won't let innocents just get stomped to death over questions about monsters."

Kazumi had followed the others into the elevator without so much as a word. "Ohhhh." scratch that, the girl looked up straight into the sky as the attractive sight had put her under it spell. "This is so cool!" yelled Kazumi as she clasped her hands together.

"I'm sorry, Miss Sumire." Tsubaki said, turning to face her with a determined look. "But I don't want to harm children as much as I don't want to see our children harmed. What if they're scared and want to only find their mother? I'm sure we can find a solution that helps both sides."

"The problem is we don't know what the situation is to that detail. We'll know more once we arrive," Sumire responded, actually appreciating the determination she could sense in Tsubaki's words. As the elevator traveled up she added, "But if they're bent on destruction, we'll have to teach them a lesson. That's the nature of these things."

Captain Bright was ascending with the team. "G-spawn have sharp teeth and claws, a formidable tail, hide that can shrug off small arms fire, and may possess a breath weapon. They heal very quickly if they have an energy source, biomass or raw energy (though they can be harmed by concentrated energy attacks.) They're extremely strong swimmers, but clumsier on land. The spawn are proportionately faster than an adult Godzillasaurus, so don't assume you're at a safe range. Atomic radiation makes them stronger. Some may have other seemingly random powers."

He paused a moment. "Gojira has never shown a familial interest in its spawn. The 'cute' son of Gojira was an invention of the movies, I fear."

Tsubaki was about to follow him when Raoh mentioned that the G-Spawn might have a mother. "You don't want us to kill children, do you?!" she asked, turning to Bright with a furrowed brow. "Even if they're of a different species, they're still children."

What about our children that are in the path of these... beast's.. children, if that is what they are? We have a duty to protect them, don't we?" she remarked, "Murdering anyone's children is abhorrent, but I won't let innocents just get stomped to death over questions about monsters."

As the elevator traveled up she added, "But if they're bent on destruction, we'll have to teach them a lesson. That's the nature of these things."

The elevator had nearly reached the hangar floor.

Captain Bright said, "Gojira is not sentient. From all available data, it's about as smart as a border collie. The G-Spawn are operating almost entirely on instinct. I'd have no problem with wiping them out, but as a military man, that's my training." He stared at the now-visible jump jet. "If you feel that a live capture would be best, and you can accomplish it without endangering the mission, that's your perogative. I should mention that Kabakawa Village, being coastal, has evacuation plans in place, and most of the residents should be safely away by the time the G-Spawn arrive."

((Responses?))

The jet looked a bit futuristic, and the sharp-eyed could see a helmeted man in the cockpit window. He took a moment to give a salute to Captain Bright.

Inside, the heavily padded seats had a fairly complicated safety harness, which Kim briefly demonstrated before deplaning. Captain Bright took the co-pilot's seat and donned a flight helmet.

Unfortunately, it appeared that the accomodation people hadn't gotten to the plane yet, and Raoh was forced to take up two seats and compromise on the safety harness.

"This is Lieutenant Rey, your pilot for today," said the helmeted man. "Please stow your luggage securely and fasten your safety harnesses—takeoff's going to be a bit rough."

Aikawa Ayumu

"I'm not in favor of killing children but it sounds like these are mostly mindless engines of destruction" Ayumu threw in his two cents. He already equated this things with Megalos which needed to be eliminated for the safety of others. He clenched the grip of Mystletainn with some apprehension until Bright said that evacuation was in progress.

They arrived at the jet and Ayumu locked himself in opposite the rather imposing Raoh. He held Mystletainn to his chest to ensure it would not get away. "If it's all the same to you I'll keep my chainsaw instead of stowing it" Ayumu said "I can hold it with more than enough strength to ensure it does not go flying everywhere." He had a faint grin but then took to looking off into the distance.

Once the elevator reached the hangar, Black Star had already entered the jet and had already chosen what he called "the best seat in the jet"- which was, of course, the one closer to a window and the pilot's cabin. Once she chose her seat right besides Black Star, one could clearly spot how different they were just by looking how they put on their safety harness. Black Star did the procedure very quickly, but eventually had to repeat it multiple times because he kept glaring over the important part. Tsubaki did it on one, albeit slow, try.

"How big is a G-Spawn? Perhaps we could restrain them and put them in a place where they won't hurt anyone? A place where they could live in peace?" asked Tsubaki, who was watching Black Star repeat the procedure for the fifth time.

Arriving at their destination, Sumire went about her business in preparing for battling radioactive dinosaurs. From her metal case she produced, in pieces, her Spirit Armour as well as the proper garments for wearing underneath. Without a word she found a place to duck behind so she could change and pulled the glorified jumpsuit on before activating the auto-donning option for the Spirit Armour. Rather suprisingly it didn't explode. The various pieces of armour attached themselves to her form quicker than she would've expected; it was topped by the helmet she donned manually. Her naginata, thankfully, condensed into a small staff until it would be ready to deploy.

"Justice League's Top Star, Sumire Kanazki, ready to go," she announced as she marched over to the jet and buckled herself into a seat, visor up so that her confident smirk was visible to all.

Raoh wasn't sure what to make of Kazumi's comment; he couldn't decide if she was naturally like that, or if she was just trying to lighten the mood a bit. He looked where she was looking and decided that she was wrong; while the sight was nice, he much preferred the view from the Hokuto Shinken Training Grounds; at least, whenever the Star of Death wasn't hanging over his head.

After listening to Bright and arriving in the hanger, Raoh took his place in the back seats, though he was only kinda sorta able to use the safety harness due to his size. He gave the result an extremely unamused stare before turning to Ayumu and saying "That's fine with me. Just make sure you don't hit anyone with it until we're back on the ground."

After listening to Tsubaki, Raoh said "I'm impressed with your compassion Tsubaki." Raoh paused for a moment before turning so that while he was looking at Black Star, it was clear he was talking to Tsubaki. Watching the young meister continue to struggle with the safety harness, the muscle-bound martial artist said "By the way, is he really going to be alright? I'm a bit worried about his impulsiveness."

"Oh, Black Star? He's going to be f—"

"HEY!" Black Star yelled, pointing at Sumire. "You're not Justice League's top star, that's me! You're like a small ant compared to me!" He immediately tried to jump from his seat, but he was pulled back by the safety harness that he had finally put on right after the eight try. He looked at it, furrowed his brow and crossed his arms. "See?! You're not even important enough for me to leave my seat! Humph."

Tsubaki nodded, a meek smile on her face. "He's going to be fine, Mister Raoh, don't worry about it."

"You, the Top Star?Oh ho ho ho ho! It's nice to see you have a sense of humor," Sumire responded in great amusement to Black Star's pronouncement. She waved his words off dismissively, "You can hardly claim that lofty title if no one outside of this team has ever heard of you."

She then crossed her arms over her chest and concluded, "But I was not recruited to this force to argue with children."

The jet went straight up at first, relatively slowly by Nanoha's standards, but then it was much heavier. But soon they were above the skyline, and the engines rotated to their lateral flight position. Then Lieutenant Rey demonstrated what the plane could really do in the way of acceleration.

The G-forces were a bit uncomfortable for the more fragile members of the team, demonstrating why the seats were so padded. Ayumu's chainsaw crushed up against his chest in a way that would be massively uncomfortable, if he weren't a zombie.

Once the jet was at cruising speed, the pressure eased up a bit, and Captain Bright turned on the intercom. "One of you was asking how large G-Spawn are? I think the minimum size you'll see is three meters at the shoulder, and some may have already gotten to ten meters, if they've found plenty to eat. If you can capture any of them alive, we can get them to Monster Island. It's not exactly living in peace, but it's better than having them run loose."

{{Responses?))

Deceleration was smoother, only watching the ground really gave a hint as to how much slower the jet was going until it dropped below the sound barrier with a shudder.

"ETA three minutes," signaled Lieutenant Rey. "Flyers, please get ready first—it'll be safe to let you out once we switch to hover mode."

Nanoha chuckled. "It reminds me of that giant cat I fought ages ago," she said. "Small matter. In fact, even better: they are quite large and thus hard to miss."
When Lt. Rey gave the signal, Nanoha got out of her seat and walked up to the door. She held Raising Heart at the ready.
"Ready," she said.

"Who are you calling a kid—" Black Star was about to start another argument when the jet took off, sending him straight into his seat. The boy appeared to be having a hard time with the G-forces, while Tsubaki remained calm and normal, holding on to the seat. Once the jet was at cruising speed, Tsubaki let out a relaxing sigh, and looked at Black Star, who was still dizzy from the pressure of the G-force.

"That's a better option than killing them." Tsubaki said out loud, happily nodding as Bright mentioned the Monster Island. "I suggest we all do that... but it's only a suggestion, of course."

Being who she was Sumire was quite used to flying on jet aircraft, usually of the private variety. This did not fully prepare her for the forces of gravity at work as the jump jet accelerated; thankfully the safety belt provided adequate reinforcement. Black Star's starting to protest being called a child was lost as she began to focus on preparations for battle. She'd been through a lot of testing with the Spirit Armour, even a bit of combat, but being part of a team held new advantages and distractions. As the 3 minute-mark hit Sumire pulled her visor down, unbuckled herself and stepped over towards the door as well. In her hand she grasped her still-compact weapon and prepared to jump, staying eerily silent for how much she'd said previously.

"I'll try to knock them out if it makes you feel better Tsubaki" Ayumu said. The chainsaw was currently wedged into his ribs in a most uncomfortable way. Being a zombie didn't mean he didn't feel pain but after a while you get used to it. He thought of the girls he had left at home. He wondered what Eu or Seraphim would have done to these G-Spawn creatures.

When the three minute warning was given Ayumu gripped Mistletainn a little harder. The fight was going to come soon and he was ready. Well, it's not like he had to worry about dying again anyways.

Raoh gave an annoyed look and was about to interrupt the argument before it could gain too much steam, but the pilots announcement and subsequent lift-off caused him to stay silent when they shut both parties up. He was rather surprised by the amount of force that actually getting on their way brought, but he showed no outward sign that he was affected at all.

At Tsubaki's words, Raoh thought for a moment before saying "If they have a pressure point system similar to humans or lizards, then I don't have a problem with that. However, if they don't, I'll have to resort to less controlled methods of brutality, so no promises."
