As said in my title, I curently writing a magical girl story that I like to call for a nickname the Gurren Lagann of Puella Magi. Though I don't necessarily find it an accurate statement to my work, it's still something that I like to try to aim for.
I know that many people call Puella Magi that Eva of the magical girl series, though there is Reconstruction in the end. In addition, tropers say that the mecha anime Gurren Lagann is the polar opposite of Eva. So that got me the idea that there should be something that is a huge, if not complete, opposite of Puella Magi just like how Gurren Lagann was to Eva.
Though I know a few ways how PMMM deconstructs the magical girl genre and found ways to recontruct it in my story, I still want to have a complete list of ways how it is deconstructed. That way, I reach more of my goal as said above as best as I can.
