Episode Season 1?
Trump delenda estSeason 1, yeah.
Not entirely devoid. It is deliberately, and I'm not spoiling you because it's a basic part of the setup, based on Hamlet although later seasons get away from this a bit.

Trump delenda estYeah, I was aware of the Hamlet inspiration before going in, but other than perhaps early thematic cues, it's pretty good about it so far (plus it's not a huge leap to guess that Clay probably killed Jax's dad).
And Clay and Gemma are to me the major reason to watch this show. I feel Perleman and Sagal should have permanent spots on the Emmy nomination list.
Trump delenda estJust finished Season 1.
"Time for a change" indeed!
Also, I saw Donna being killed a mile off, but it was still a real heavy moment.
Finished Season 2 last night.
Tara really annoys me.
Also, why does Opie keep taking his mask off? Seriously, the guy is chronically camera-caught.
Gave up watching during season 1. I thought it's a show about a biker gang, yet all the blond whimp does is gushing over the baby. I really enjoyed Ron Perlman and Mitch Pileggi, but after 8 or 9 episodes, nearly everyone seems to fill out a stereotype and little more. Especially Jax seems to be tailored to be nothing but estrogen brigade bait, so maybe I'm just not the target demographic. Still, I was very disappointed after hearing so much good about the show.
Well, the rate at which I'm watching has diminished significantly, so that's a sign.
Halfway through Season 3. Not sure how much more I'll watch.
And you're completely right about the stereotypes.
S3 is the weakest although it ends well. S4 makes up for it.

No thread for SAMCRO?
Shocking, I say!
Just started watching, finished episode 4 last night. Solid, solid series, remarkably devoid of stereotypes.
