I'd seen its name around the wiki a few times, but only recently did I binge on Zebra Girl and man, is it worth it. I noticed it didn't have a forum thread, so here goes, if anybody else reads it. Oh, and linky.

I read it, but I don't have it bookmarked since I've gotten used to it hardly ever updating. I think it's sped up lately, but Joe used to do a ludicrous amount of crosshatching in every page all by hand. I can hardly imagine keeping up the motivation to update a comic when such a large proportion of the work is crosshatching.

He's managed to be pretty consistent with a once-a-week schedule these last few months. Great art, very weird storylines.

Getting her pants on requires just a little suspension of disbelief, but how does her shirt retain structural integrity with the entire back cut out for wings?

I discovered this webcomic during the Subfusc arc, and I love it. Joe's art improved a lot with time, and the story is fascinating. The only problem is the rather important Archive Binge, and the fact that some of the oldest comics are a tiny bit difficult to read (small font size, confusing action, etc). The plot stagnated a little too during some arcs, but after Sandra's Faceā€“Heel Turn and onwards it becomes really interesting. Overall, I don't regret giving it a go.

On the other hand, as someone who picked it up earlier, around the points where you describe the plot as picking up, for me it was slowing down because, well, the comic was slowing down. Trying to read the comic in real time became a lot more difficult around the period of Sandra's Face/Heel Turn.

The current storyline is quite interesting. Depending on how our beloved characters react, next comics will be either very heartwarming, either very tragic.
