It's a great idea but I think you need to make it a bit more compelling. Maybe Iron Man crashes into the spaceship/plane crash too? There had better be some m-preg in it too, or no one will want to read it.

Would the government either cover up the crash or would the public know the existence of aliens?

I have an idea for a fan fiction elseworld story and it's what if superman's spaceship crashed into Hal's Jordan's father airplane while Hal's father was test flying it.
