Like shooting out of cover and then spending a brief time playing a flying game.
You can change cover targets at will and arc your flightpath any way you choose, so you can actually get a lot of mobility from the system.
The combat is fairly well balanced. The two special weapons have one thats a bit OP and one thats extremely UP but many many weapon and ability combos are viable. I like a high-speed SMG with toxic rounds as an active and extra damage as a passive (you get one of each type of extra) The art direction and style are really nice and sharp too.

Anyone play this? I picked it up as part of Summer of Arcade on the 360. Nice little game. Shame it isnt popular enough to have a page on T Vtropes.
