- Remember Me is supposed to be equal parts action (with the Combo lab being a highlighted feature of that aspect) and equal parts adventure(with Memory Remix being a highlighted feature of that aspect).
- The gameplay system was done before Ono had any input on it ( he also joked about beating Ono at Street Fighter).
- When asked about fan input in the game, Dontnod said that some of the memories produced by teh fans from competitions were used.
- The intention behind Nilin was that she felt unique enough but at the same time relatable to the audience, something they wanted to reflect in her mannersim as well as her character design( combining futuristic features with present day clothing such as jeans.
- The name of Neo Paris came about not just because, while it is still Paris, there are significant changes to it in the future so that it isn't quiet the same, it is also a refernce to Akira
- English is more spoken in Neo Paris than French as that is the cosmopolitan alngauge in the future
- Human intimacy and idenity are importaqnt themes in the game.
- This game is not intended to be stealth.
- While Nilin's fighting style was originally mainly inspired by Aikido (with there still being some of that inspiration left),Tai Chi, Jeet Kune Do, Taekwkondo and Capoeira styles where later emphasized and incorporated.
- Dontnod have designed this game to be linear and story driven
- The black and white scheme was used as it has a deeper, spoiler related meaning concerning their usage on Nilin. Orange is used for connotation with the memory theme.
hmm, seems pretty cool.
Watch SymphogearIiiiiiinteresting.
I like how it seems very much like an Acrobatic God Hand mixed with Batman Arkham City's platforming.

So the thin agile female protagonist ends up fighting a pro wrestler on a rooftop. Now where have I seen this before...

The first Scooby-Doo movie. Sort of.
Signatures are for lamers."It's HER! The esCAPED MEMory HUNTer!"
...God, the voice acting is just AWFUL. The game and the concept looks good but this just utterly RUINS it!
EDIT: One of the things I'm really liking is the art design, especially how the city seems to maintain the classic building while harmoniously blending them with new buildings and tech.

Seems plenty super to me; you don't need spandex pasties for that.
As for why they need to provide some justification, its because a lot of people would rather not play a pure black hat villain. And casually mindraping someone into committing suicide just because they got in your way? That is about as black hat as it gets. As is, it looks like the game is still going to hit Dishonored levels of "I would sleep much better at night if I had just shot them in the head."
Home of CBR Rumbles-in-Exile: rumbles.fr.yuku.com...so there are mutant zombies in this game? ...that kind of makes me lose a bit of interest.
Game looks GORGEOUS. Still worried about the voice acting though.
This reminds me so much of Watch_Dogs, it's scary... Is this the new route we're going down in video games? From Military Shooters to Technological Geniuses in Dystopian Futures?
It looks neat, but I dunno, it's only coming out for last gen consoles, and I'm sort of winding down from Previous gen stuff...
I don't care if the next generation is just around the corner. As long as there's still good games being released on current consoles and PC, I'm interested in getting them.

It's the zeitgeist. We've gone from "terrorists want to kill us all" to "oh god, we're broke" and "Facebook keeps stealing our data".
Eurogamer has a preview of this game up. It looks positive and they think it's a good game so far, but they question if a game like this is part of a dying breed (of games that are not quite indie and not quite AAA, i.e. AA).
Interesting preview.
Game's up for preorder on Steam for $50. Contains some awfully familiar moves for the Combo Lab as a preorder bonus.
Oooooh! Is there a Stinger?
Even better!
I freakin' hate preorder DLC though...
I don't mind Pre-order DLC if it's something like an OST or Artbook.

Isn't that obvious:
