(Hopefully-more-permanent page link.)
(You left out "the" and the ".com" suffix above, it seems, by the way.)
As to the page itself, perhaps he's simply busy. On the other hand, he could be in trouble, or this might be a test of her interest in learning — he's giving her an opportunity to lose interest given time away from a source of encouragement.

Ugh, all this suspense is killing me! So I guess the comic is doing its job. :p

I'd like to note that the links that you use seem to all go to the front page, which means that once a new page has been put up they no longer link to the page that they describe.
Since this comic alas seems to simply put its current page up on the front page, the easiest way that I see of getting a more reliable link is to go back one page and then either go forward one page again and take the URL that you arrive at or, having gone back one page, simply take the link from the forward button (right click and select "Copy Link Location" in Firefox; I don't know what other browsers might use).
... I'm afraid that I seem to have little to add regarding the recent pages themselves, other than that I'm curious to see what happens.
My Games & WritingAw, jeez, your right. >__>
I'll find a way to fix this!
EDIT: All the links are fixed so far. Thanks for the heads up. :)

They're building up to it.
Mmmmmn, I really do love the art but darn it, why can't it move any faster.
Yes, I know this contradicts with my last post, no one rub it in!

You seem to have left out a question mark in your second link there — compare it to the first link. ^^;
As to the comic... there's really not much that I see to add at this point. ^^;
My Games & WritingHmm... So (unless I'm forgetting something that either confirms or refutes this) my current guess is that the plot is essentially the story of an idea becoming a concept, and one that spawns more than a single given work — much, I suppose, as this webcomic itself might have started with a single notion (such as "imagine if all of my thoughts were people in a world in my head"), only to be taken up and developed, perhaps by interaction with other, more developed thoughts.
My Games & WritingI think you got it. :)

You seem to have gotten the TV Tropes URL at the start of the link that you posted — just remove that and it seems to work.
As to the comic, I think that I like this fellow's perspective on the time of day. :P
My Games & WritingUgh, why do I always make mistakes when posting links?!? >n<
... Are you re-typing those links? If so, why not just copy-paste them? That should significantly reduce the number of mistakes. In this case, I'm afraid that you seem to have the question-mark in the wrong place in your second link. :/
As to the comics themselves, I don't have much to add; it's good to see some characterisation and motivation, I suppose.
My Games & WritingMy Nook doesn't let me copy and paste. ;-;
Anyone in that first panel look familiar? (Hint: Check the cast page)
Chapter two has started!
I wonder what is going on with Esteban. :o
Edit: Sorry I messed up the link. >~<
