The in-universe explanation was that Ruby was disguising her voice in Kohaku's presence. (This was a Carnival Phantasm x Prisma Illya crossover, incidentally)

The out-of-universe explanation is that you obviously can't have two characters who sound the same in a drama cd, so something's gotta give, and George-mode Ruby made everything funnier.

Alternatively, her stress level after being summoned is so strong that she is creating dangerous icicle and risk freezing everyone in the room. Thinking there are being attacked, the Ainsworth kill her on the spot.

Chap 16 is out in places Illya faces off against Rin and Luvia, who are also packing cards, and Finally gets back into her body... complete with Miyu's outfit, Angelica seems to be pretty much Darius' Dragon

Where are you guys reading stuff beyond chapter 12, anyway? All I can find are scans by Suimasen, which are currently at chapter 12.

She's basically a Genderflip version of Kiritsugu... which makes Darius... evil Iri, and before you go but Kerry was never that bad! Maiya comments in the novel that the Kiritsugu she remembers before he went to live with Iri wouldn't have bothered evacuating the hotel Kayneth was in.

Its the end of the world as they know it... you can feel bad about all the stuff you did after you've saved it.

So a thought just struck me, and I'm kicking myself for not thinking of it:

If Miyu is the Holy grail of her world, then is she also a Homonculus, and therefore the counterpart to Ilya?

Or is she just a normal human?

I guess if Shirou is her brother, the it would lean towards the latter, but do we even know if she is her biological relative? It wouldn't be the first time the term Oni-chan was tossed around when it didn't fully apply. Then again, we also know that normal humans can act as Grail cores (Sakura proves that, and Kirei did plan to use Rin as the core in UBW).

I think Miyu was mentioned to be a natural, biological grail.

Ah. Okay then. Kinda funny how rare those are; people born naturally who can become the grail....or is it just that because of the Einzbern always pumping out Homonculi that we rarely saw normal people who could be the grail? I'm not sure.

Well g being the grail wasn't thought up till the 4th grail war after the container was wrecked in the third war -and before you ask its in the Fate Zero Material Encyclopedia -Pg 90-

Miyu is a naturally occurring one though she's referred to as more of a circuit that makes it work then a container.

also Prisma Illya, Iri, Sella and Liz aren't Homuculi atleast not in the standard Einzbern sense,

I don't know about that last line. They may still be homunculi, even though it's kinda vague what the hell Iri and Kiritsugu could do to eliminate the Einzberns.

Or is that still Kerry's business, explaining why he's so absent in this continuity? Hmmmm...

How did the Berserk Class Card Rider create the circle for Bellerophon without cutting herself first?

If it's not in the manga as well, they just messed up.

Checked the Manga.

In that version, the circle is just there. We never see how she forms it.

In the Anime, it seems to come out of nowhere. With the manga, you could argue she cut herself while the smokescreen is up.

Maybe I'm overthinking this truthfully.

Thats pretty much what happened in the fight with Saber alter, apparently Rider doesn't have to waste time with the Summoning if she is just gonna use it like a cannon and not actually bring Pegasus out to fly on.

Really. I thought for sure when she first summons it during the end of the fight in the school, she still does the neck cut.

Though she doesn't invoke it's name for what we hear.

Of course that's the main universe, and her Class Card counterpart is different. Maybe it works a bit differently because of that.
