The harmonica apparently has something to do with Michiru's route.

You know what? I'll be hoping for a Michiru route from now on.

Though of course I have nothing to back this up.

Honestly, what I'm seeing here are strong implications that we're running head-first into either Chisato's or Satsuki's route. Both my previous post in this thread and pretty much this entire episode are making me heavily lean toward Chisato.

That said, I wish there was an English translation of the visual novel out there, so I could run through it and get a better idea.

I'm trying to glean what I can from people who have played it. It seems that even people who played it can't be 100% sure of which ending they're going for since material from almost all routes has been mixed in.

Apparently Chisato's incredible jealousy towards Oojima and Satsuki makes that segment appear to be from the end of her route.

There also sounds like there's a fair bit to cover if they're doing Chisato.

So, I'm still thinking it will be a Chisato ending. Could be a Satsuki ending, but if that's the case it would be like we got to the very end of her route and then went off and did another heroine before the very last part of her route.

I'd prefer a Satsuki ending if the alternative is a Chisato one. Just sayin'.

Wonder why Oosawa was allowed to keep her position even after that fiasco.

Episode 10.

Well, they finally revealed Chisato's motivation. Can't say I'm surprised. She needs to get a grip, or professional help.

Also, they gone back to the very first plot we saw in the series. Unless I'm misinterpreting it, Kana was the girl who got hit by the car in the first episode. Nice to see that again.

I thought the stuff about Michiru was really interesting. A double agent though! Still, I'd hope her agenda is still rather simple in keeping with what we've been led to believe about her. The background story to her route does appear to be a part of the backstory of the whole show.

I just hope Chisato will not get guy. I hate these tendences let most sympathetic and angsting girls win.

[up]Well, that would disqualify her in my eyes. She's not very sympathetic. Pity is a better word.

I'm kinda not that interested in the shipping of this show. And as someone who doesn't feel they have a vested interest in the romances... Brace yourselves for a likely Chisato ending.

Sorry guys, I'm placing my bets on this backstory being elaborated on before tying up the romantic stuff with Chisato.

[up][up]Ok Pitiable is better word I guess, it's just that authors quite often goes like: Oh she has so much problems! And It would ruin her if she didn't win boy. Strong characters can handle a bit of unhappiness anyway. So...

It's sort of discrimination I would say.

Anyway it would maybe nice but mediocre show if it didn't have whole that selection (and stuff) background story going on.

Episode 10: Please tell me I'm not the only one who laughed throughout Chisato's breakdown. I just... just couldn't take it seriously, her clinging to Yuuki like a yandere koala, and then vomiting the chocolate. I cheered when Oojima ripped his shirt, and when he slapped the girl, finally telling her enough is enough.

I'm part of the camp that doesn't want Chisato to win, but she probably will be the victor, no matter how much I want Satsuki to win.

Second half of the episode is hella interesting. We go back to the very first scene in the show, ties it to the current goings on, and then there's the reveal about Morishita being a spy! Frickin' spies. This school is really weird.

[up] That is a pretty sweet simile.

I'm fairly sure Chisato is going to win simply because she's in the centre/foreground of most of the picture-things of the cast.

I thought I already pointed out that the novel forces you into her route before you can do any others?

Not to mention that her problem is in the friggin' title of the show. It was obvious from the get-go.

While there are some characters I dislike very much for minor reasons, or cause I favour different ship, in this case I honestly belive Chisato spoiling good show. Even if I try hard empathise myself into people who like her, I can't.

Where exactly is her merrit? I can't see it not even imagine.

On the subject of Chisato...

I should be the one asking why you seem to hate her so badly.

How should I put it? I guess I belive weak shouldn't pray on strong (vice versa is given of course). Chisato and others get often whatever they want just cause they are too pitiable and that irritate me greatly. Did you saw Eleven Eyes? Thats exactly it.

Its probably best explanation I am capable of. I probably wouldn't mind if Chisato resolved he problems and were happy in the end as long as she wouldn't steal spotlights from other characters.

Well this episode was one of the best so far. The pacing was a bit rushed though.

And it looks like we have the final hurdle to overcome before the election; Saving Chisato. I'd say it's a hostage situation.

I'm not a Chisato hater, but I have to say I can't see that she's actually become more likable, just less unlikable.

I think Morishta did have her chance to shine though.

Yuuki was a badass this episode. That thing with the phone, and how he vowed to win the election even without Shut-Eyes' help, and he does!

Gotta say, I loved Morishita S-Agent mode. You really could make an entire show out of the S-Agent concept. And Kana getting revived by the harmonica was... actually predictable and I thought it was nice that something, err, nice happened.

It's nice of Mifuyu to get Chisato and Yuuki to patch up. Even going so far as to display the scar she's not to keen on. Speaking of Chisato, yeah we're definitely on her route. If only those guys with the tasers at then end just kept on doing their thing... tongue I kid, I kid. Yuuki x Chisato might not be my ideal ship, but Chisato was good this episode.

In this episode, Chisato became somewhat more likeable because she did what I wanted before (though still not up to the same standard she began the series at), and Mifuyu became slightly less likeable, because of that scar. Not because she has it, but because having a complex over it is so cheap. I might not know what guys think about such things, but as Chisato said, I don't think they care. This is just down the same route Chisato was at: pity. However, she saved herself from a total failure by actually acting.

In other news, that musical scene was predictable, but not bad. The scenes before were badass.
