Help Me Like Anime Again?

So I loved Anime as a Teen but Im now in my 30's and most of the stuff Ive been seeing hasnt been all that great. Im not really into the fighting Anime, for example Bleach, Dragonball, Naruto, etc... and Im looking for some recommendations to rekindle my interest.

The Anime I have liked : FLCL, Slayers, Death Note, Excel Saga

Im watching Deadman Wonderland and sorta liking it but I think thats going to change now that his powers have manifested and he's been moved to the Cell block with the others that are infected with Branch of Sin and he's going to be expected to fight them...

So, any ideas on what I might find interesting?

There's no shortage of anime and manga that caters to all needs.

That said, I have not watched any of the series you listed.
