@burnpsy: Anime counts. I guess pretty much any data outside of the Jump rankings, really.
Volume 11 sold over 160K, which is pretty respectable for something established (albeit not superstar-level high). The anime got an extension, too, as noted. Said extension isn't even continuing the manga content, but original content within the universe, meaning they see more than enough popularity from the anime adaptation.
It's skip week in Japan, but the online edition is not having any fill-ins for a change.
Wait, wasn't the last week the skip week?
That's becuse of our charming raw providers. We're technically a week ahead of Japan.
Secret SignatureThose of us who support the legal release get our skip this week, while you folks spoiler yourselves again.
Haven't you noticed that the English release is one issue behind on each of my posts despite the English release being simultaneous?
In any case, ranks will be posted when I have more down time.

I don't consider the table of contents to be a spoiler in and of itself. It's not like you're posting chapter titles or the winners of the series popularity contests before street date.
That was more aimed at Shulgo and in support of what alekos and you said. And I have posted some popularity poll results.

Hmm, Straighten Up! seems to be pretty stably in the middle right now. I didn't expect that out of a manga about competitive dancing. Then again, WSJ is really good at getting authors to do these manga about competitions and such that can succeed in spite of, or perhaps because of, its obscure theme, and can even get people interested (like Eyeshield 21 with American football).
As a pinball fan, I'm wondering when WSJ is going to get a series about competitive pinball. It's going to happen sooner or later.
As for yet another Yu-Gi-Oh! series, the franchise still attracts a lot of young readers. It's a safe bet to place in the magazine.

Hm, Black Clover seems to have shot back down again, but if it's anything like last time it'll shoot right back up next week. And Kagamigami, Lady Justice, and Devily Man taking the last 3 spots practically cements that they're the current buffer (not that this wasn't obvious).
In its defense, Eyeshield Twenty One 1)is gloriously batshit, and 2)basically started the whole "sports-themed battle manga" trend of giving athletes superpowers (Kuroko's invisibility, Echizen going Super Saiyan, etc.). On that second note, based on what I've read I'm surprised Straighten Up! is keeping middle-ground since it seems fairly unremarkable.
I'm still surprised the franchise can keep cranking out spin-offs like this. Granted, it's been years since I've given a damn about the card game, but still.
PINBALL WIZARD! ORAORAORAORAAAAA!!!

Straighten Up and Eyeshield 21 have different appeals, though. It leans a lot more on the "comfy" side. Like, it just wants to make you squee "Hnngh, ain't these people so adorable and precious?"
I've always maintained that there should be a minigolf manga in the same vein as The Legend of Koizumi. I'd read it!
The anime for ARC-V is actually pretty good.
Dammit, super-late again.
Issue 41:
Kochikame (Cover, Lead Colour, 39th Anniversary◊)
1. My Hero Academia
2. One Piece
3. Hinomaru Zumō
4. Black Clover

This time next year, Kochikame will be the first manga to hit 200 volumes.
Best Blue is a flop. At this rate, it looks like Kagamigami will pull a magico, by which I mean it will live for a year simply because there are worse things beneath it.
Nisekoi swings low again, everyone else is as usual.
The next issue will release two days early due to a national holiday on the usual Monday.

Still no news on which new series will be included in English Jump? Looks like Straighten Up is the only option left anyway.
They may just skip adding a new series until they see how this latest crop works out. After all, there's more YGO just starting.
There's actually a new manga coming out: Mononofu, a shogi manga by Haruto Ikezawa. And Jump Start's going to cover it.
Not surprised to see Lady Justice be the first out, but I am kinda surprised to see Best Blue start off like shit. And yeah, looks like Kagamigami's going to be riding the waves for as long as it can.

Yep, the first three chapters, same as most new series in Shounen Jump Japan. But they may not add another "permanent" series for a while yet. Possibly as and when Bleach finally kicks the bucket.
The final chapter of Lady Justice goes something like: some guy built a robot in the flashback, some guy gets killed by that robot in the flashback. The female Protagonist fight the robot that the dead guy built. The robot is going to explode, the female protagonist flew off to space with the robot. There's Stan Lee. The female protagonist survived from the explosion, but she's naked in space.
... it sounds like something straight out from a cat poster, but it's true.
I think just-after-midnight-Monday-morning has become my normal time at this point due to change in living conditions.
In any case...

So Devily Man's gone, Kagamigami looks perfectly set up to get hit next, and Best Blue's shaping up to be another failure. Nothing surprising there.
We got any more info on Samon-kun wa Summoner besides the name?
I don't even know who's drawing it. Unless a news site picked it up, I'll have to wait for the issue to release.
Which is weird since I've only heard people saying bad things about it. "Flash level animation" was a prominent complain IIRC.
