Scott stuffed his hands in his pockets. "Same here. Sokka snores, big time. It was like a jackhammer."

Wally looked to Rock expectantly, but couldn't help but mutter, "So now it talks?" He knew that Rock was familiar with this place somehow, and he sounded pretty grave once feeding the plant was mentioned. The five-month thing was odd, but he couldn't help but think the plant was more important at the moment.

Zuko yawned, leaning against the wall for support. It certainly hadn't felt like five months- just one night. He'd even stayed awake for a large part of it, thinking. Wouldn't he have noticed if time suddenly decided to skip ahead? The thought of it creeped him out. What if they'd been supposed to do something over that five month period? Not being in control of the situation was setting Zuko on edge, and it was apparent in his stance.

"Rock, before you say anything, I'd like to instate one more rule." The Doctor said, raising his finger. "Don't sleep. It might trigger this time skip again, and I don't want to know what will happen if one of us is asleep while the other is awake through the time skip."

"I do NOT sno— Ah, forget it.I'll be off to feed the plant." Sokka said, starting the walk back to the room. "I'll find something on the way, like a bird or anything. It probably needs water too."

Just as soon as Rock said he needed to tell everyone something... nothing happened. To the area around them, at least. Rock would find a very unusual feeling on his throat... it wasn't like the things he wanted to tell them about the plant couldn't come out... it was like they could only come out through song. "Yes, Rock? What is it?" The Doctor asked, raising an eyebrow.

Rock felt the immense compulsion to sing out what he wanted to say instead of just saying it.......thinking, he decided to try to beat this universe's system:

"The World we are in,
it is a musical play,
one my father likes.

The name of it is,
The Little Shop of Horrors,
And I know its plot."

The robot master sang what he needed to say as a haiku with a minor rhythmic beat. It was a method he managed to use against various music based villains, most notoriously the Music Meister.

"Dammit, so what then? Anti-sleeping pills."

Red Arrow sighed after he had his last sleep.

"It was a nice room, and Miss Pit was friendly. She didn't snore at all or say anything mean to me. And she has pretty wings." Nana blinked as a thought came to her,

"Mr Rock spoke in song.

Does that mean we will all sing before long?"

She smiled at being able to make a rhyme. She had felt no compulsion for singing and it wasn't exactly a song but she had tried. She was a little curious about why she could read something that wasn't in Japanese.

She then looked at Sokka and gave him a friendly smile, "Not sleeping isn't hard, Nana has been ma—um, has done that before. But it is not nice. Maybe we should get the other wish before we get tired and leave then?"

The Doctor irked, blocking Rock's mouth with his hand. "Don't sing! We don't know how the field works! If it's getting to you, it won't be long before you start prancing around like the last of them!" He pulled out his sonic screwdriver and pointed it at Rock's neck, pressing a button. "Alright, so it's not a virus... Rock, I forbid you from talking. For all we know, you could be spreading this to the others—"

He let out another irk as Nana started singing, blocking her mouth and pointing the screwdriver at her throat. "No, no, it can't be! It can't be spreading this f... Nana, why did my screwdriver just say your throat is made of— must be failing... right, we need to work even faster if we don't want to get affected by the field. Sokka, take Scott and go feed the plant. The rest of us, we need to get into that shop and get the other plant right now before we start perfectly dancing to choreographies we never rehearsed. No holding back, alright?"

"Fine, I see no problem with that." Sokka said, glancing at Nana and briefly returning her kind smile with another kind smile. "I'll take care of the plant with Scott. You folks get the other Wish and we'll get back to the ship in no time. Scott?" He said, glaring at his roommate. "Stop dozing off and let's go."

Rock gently smacked the Doctor's screwdriver away. "The reason this musical field is effecting me is before I because I'm telling you something import - " The Robot Master felt the field trying to overtake him again as he was telling the Doctor......

"Listen to me here,
The story I am telling
Is of grave import.

"We can't take the plant,
For it may disrupt the plot
And cause great damage.

"It has to stay there
Because if we go before
Seymour feeds the plant

"The chopped pieces of the
Abusive dentist, then it
could destroy this world."

Hopefully the Doctor would stop worrying about the effects of this universe on them and actually listen to what Rock had to say.

"I think we better listen to him," Flutterrush said, having learned that lesson the hard way during the whole Parasprite fiasco.

"What? Oh, sure."

Scott stuffed his hands back in his pockets. "So, we going to kill a homeless guy or someone else to feed to it?"

The Room with the Plant

"Don't be an idiot." Sokka said, entering their room. "We'll just give it a water and something else, like food from the... buffet downstairs. Stupid name."

"Yes, it is a stupid name!" The plant replied as soon as Scott stepped inside the room and closed the door.

Sokka stared at the plant, then at Scott, then at the plant, then at Scott, before leaning in and whispering. "Did that thing just—"

"Why yes, I did!" The plant said, chuckling with its deep voice. "And I'm starviiiing! I suppose you two are here to... feed me?"

The Lobby

"But, hold on." The Doctor said, grabbing one of the magazines from the stand. "Look at this picture of Seymour and the plant. Look at its size! Why would it need to eat human meat if it already grew up without it?"

Scott crossed his arms and gave Sokka a 'I told you so" look. "See, man. Something about this is familiar. The guy from the flower place looks like the helmet guy from Space Balls, and this man-eating plant stuff is bugging me. It's like on the tip of my tongue."

"Meat is not what it
Feeds on for its sustanence,
Blood is what it drinks."

Rock explained through haiku.

"Seymour gave it his
own, letting it grow, but now
needs meat with the blood."

"Aw geez, I knew we shoulda left the plant we found in the sewer!" Flutterrush complained.

Nana looked a little downcast, "Sorry doctor. I...just thought maybe if I tried to sing it would help Mr Rock. Nana...I forgot it was a baad thing." She then got a confused look on her face. She didn't think there was anything wrong with her neck.

The real thing that concerned her right now was the plan for getting the other plant. Nana might not be a genious, but she could see a problem with grabbing the plant, "Um...the plant in the picture is really big. How are we going to get it? Or, um, maybe we can get it to...throw up the wish?"

When Rock sang again and she got more confused. "Meat and blood? Chopped up...the plant is going to kill people?!"

The Room with the Plant

"Scott, this isn't the time." Sokka said, taking a step back and standing a bit in front of his roommate. "What do you want, plant?"

"I'm just sooo hungry!" The plant replied. "I want to eat something! Meat! Flesh! Blood! I want to feel their juicy taste in my mouth!"

"You.. feed... on human blood?" Sokka said, his eyes widened. "Oh, Spirits..."

"Well, if you put it that way!" The plant said, chuckling. "But I need your help. You see, I slept in the same room as you two, and I have to tell you one thing before you run over to your friends and yell that the plant wants to eat human meat..." The plant leaned forward. "What if I offer you everything you two ever wanted in exchange of just one thing?"

"... Everything we've ever wanted?"

"Yes! I know everything about you two. The sad prince, self-exiled, searching for somebody nobody's seen for the past hundred years... and the swordsman, betrayed by the one he called his true love. That's not that important, though. I can get you two anything! Money, power... love? Like the love of a little winged girl, for example?"

"... Pit?"

"Why, yes! I can do eve-ry-thing for you! And all you have to do is play a little act with me. Once your friends come a-knocking, give me some water and say that everything's fine. Protect me. And I can give you two whatever you desire!"

"There has to be something else to this offer."

"Of course, that doesn't change the fact that I'm starving!" The plant leaned forward. "So how about you two... feed me that Doctor guy? Come on! You both don't like him! And he's got lotsa blood going through that walking piece of meat. Just one bite and I'll be happy forever. A win-win! What do you say, pal?"

The Lobby

"Oh, hell." The Doctor said, pinching his temples. "Wait. What if... what if the plant we found is a different version of this plant? A different mutation?" He pointed at the magazine. "It's been living on the sewers, and I don't think it could live its entire life eating rats and insects. I think it's best... if we act. We can't let Seymour kill people! We've got to get to that plant before he kills anybody!" He opened the magazine on a random page and gasped. "... else. Anybody else."

He turned the magazine to the others with a report about a dentist that had been missing for quite a while. And the date of the disappearance just happened to coincide with the date of the report about the plant "growing". "He already killed someone! Rock, this plot be damned, I won't let him kill anybody else!"

"It is too late then!
The story has progressed to
Where Mushnik is next!"

Rock haiku'd.

"Mushnik will know of
The dentists' murder, and use
a gun on Seymour!

"Seymour is forced to
Defend himself by shoving
The man into the...."

Rock was forced to pause.

"Waiting maw of the
Murderous plant, Audrey II!
But this place might not.....

"Let us interfere
With the established plot of
The musical play."

"Shall I go and execute the plant now?"

Red Arrow was tempted to get one of his trick arrows out.

Scott was silent for a moment. "Anything you say? So long as you get the Doctor? That's it? No catch?"

Nana seemd to nod to Red Arrow's suggestion, "Nana thinks that if the plants are eating people they should be stopped. Just, take the wishes out of the plants and then destroy the plants before they eat people. Feeding people eating plants is stupid! Why would anybody feed an evil plant?"

The Room

"Yep. Just feed me that slimy, juicy Doctor..." The plant said, grinning. "And I'll deliver whatever you two want in a platter."

Sokka took a deep breath, looking at Scott. "Do you... want to do it?... the Doctor is too much of an obstacle in our lives. Why don't we just do it?"

The Lobby

"Wait." The Doctor said, raising his hands. "What if we don't feed the plant?" The alien grinned. "We run a special operation, and capture the plant from the shop. We bring it over here and close it off. It won't be able to eat anyone, no one will suspect anything and everything will be fine! Plus, we'll have time to figure out how to extract the Wish."

Rock thought for a moment.......

He shrugged. "That could work," the Robot Master said, no longer talking in verse. "Only problem would be trying to move without anyone noticing....."

Hey! Who cares about the- Wait, what?!" Scott did a double-take, fully expecting Sokka to argue. "Really? No, 'No Scott, stop it Scott, You can't kill him for money Scott'? Sure, let's do it!"

Scott grinned, slapping Sokka on the back.

The Room

Sokka flinched once Scott slapped him in the back, but didn't react. "I'm glad you're agreeing with me, Scott." He clenched his hand, glaring at the ground. "The Doctor is like a child... he has been given too much power... and with him gone, both of us could become leaders of this group. With him gone, there... there's one less person to make a Wish, isn't there?"

"And all you had to do was trust little old me!" The plant said, grinning. "Now go get it!"

The Lobby

"I think I have a plan for that." The Doctor said, slowly turning around and pointing at Claptrap, Nana, Pit and Red Arrow. "Operation: Plant on the Air! With Red Arrow's... arrows, Claptrap's robotic quirks, Nana's cuteness and Pit's wings, we can get into the shop, take the plant and move it from the shop without anybody noticing!"

"Listen to this. Nana distracts the shop owners. Red Arrow uses one of his arrows to keep the way to the plant clean. Claptrap, using the fact he's a small robot, rolls through the open path and to the plant... at which point he can open a hole in the ceiling, or even a window, so Pit can swoosh in and take the plant through the air! We drop it down a bit away, and while everybody's wondering where's it gone, bam! Me and North bring it back here so we can find out how to get the Wish!"

"Did you take into account how heavy the plant will be or if Pit is able to lift the thing?" Rock asked. "Or how much noise the whole operation would be making? Or the fact you're presuming we'll be doing it in broad daylight? Seriously, that plan is so full of holes Batman would probably punch your teeth out just for suggesting it!

"We should at least wait until nighttime, with no one around," Rock said.

"I can help with lifting it," Flutterrush offered. "I don't look it, but I bench pretty hard! I can even lift the whole thing by myself!" the pony boasted.

The Lobby

"Great! Fluterrush and Claptrap can lift the plant off the ground. And of course I've thought about that." The Doctor said, pointing at Rock. "That's where you come in. The field is affecting you, as we could see by the fact you started to sing. Which means... you're going to lead the entire street into a musical number that'll not only distract them, but also produce enough noise to hide our little operation."
