Fullmetal Alchemist: Golden Age Discussion:
PING PONG CIRCULATEMain thread here. All new State Alchemists are to present themselves to the Fuhrer, others are to look onwards and await further orders. All civilians may attend the demonstration or do as they please.
Bloody RevolutionHAHA, TIME FOR DEATH.
"As a girl, I wanted to be just like those heroes in the books... Someone who fought for what was right."
As if.If Man were meant to fly, God would have filled him with gas I really like this line. Good one, Pyrite.
Everyone's GrudgeThanks, but I flat-out cribbed that one from Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis. One of my first real PC games, come to think of it.
As if.Hm... a lot of people haven't posted yet. May we inquire why?
No one dares to ask it...I've been wanting to post, but nobody has accepted my Character yet

PING PONG CIRCULATEWoops, sorry. I forgot *rubs head awkwardly*
PING PONG CIRCULATEDouble post. Sorry about not responding just yet, we've had one or two technical difficulties. Things will begin moving again for the Armstrong group today. In the meantime, enjoy a demonstration of the flying machine.
Everyone's GrudgeUh, GMs? One question. Isn't Amestris involved in conflict primarily with Drachma, with Xing as an indirect influence? I didn't realise the scenario was supposed to reflect the Cuban Missile Crisis. ...And now that I've brought OTC into the RP, this is going to hurt. EDIT: Further nitpicking - I don't think you can secure Xing, it's much larger than Amestris and separated by a desert. Sounds like a declaration of plans for world domination.

As if.Well, it's more of a parallel to the Cold War. The Amestris vs Drachma conflict is glares, insults and "I'm better than you", because both countries don't want to go on an all-out war. But with Drachma allying itself with Xing under the pretense of "resource exchange", Amestris finds a battlefield that's not Amestrian or Drachman soil, perfect for a war against Drachma. They hide this idea by saying that Drachma forced Xing to write the deal and that they're doing the right thing, saving the country from the control of their enemy. So when she says "secure Xing", she is saying "we'll save Xing from their grasps and instate our philosophy and economy on a country mostly destroyed by a war we caused", but omitting the "instate our control over the country" part to make it seem like they are the heroes. Amestris' been annexing other lands for a long time now, and having Xing "on their side" would be a major blow to Drachma.
Everyone's GrudgeOh. I must've underestimated the size of Drachma, then. Hmmm.
The Grand Re-VizierIt is basically Glorious Mother Russia, after all.
As if.Right, guess I'll describe the panflet. Here we go.
As if.The events of the Promised Day are not known by the public, Sanojutsu. I'll post as David soon.
No one dares to ask it...Not even the cover up story? because I was referring to that Never mind I edited it anyways

Everyone's GrudgeI'm going to be away for a week starting Monday (informed KSPAM in advance), so if anything happens just feel free to assume that Dr Mo decided not to show up for the meeting. What, you think he's stupid?
No one dares to ask it...is it just me or this rp died?

The MaidSomeone summon KSPAM.
If I'm sure of something it's that I'm not sure of anything.
Friendly mushroom!Yeah...it's mostly because I don't know how to interact with the State Alchemists, who seem to be at the center of the plot at the moment, and...stuff...
Life is so much more interesting inside my head.
A Forbidden RendezvousI'm still here, but.../shrug/
