I'm telling you, there is absolutely no way to know that for sure with what little time people have had with the game. On the surface, these characters may appear well off and on equal footing, but fighting games, Smash included, have never been about what's visible on the hood. Once people dig into the game and break down all of its new and revised mechanics, than we'll see who's good and who isn't.

I trust the balance will be better on account of who helped with the game, but it won't be perfect, because Nintendo's so adamant about keeping their games close to the chest that it likely got little to no player testing outside employees and debuggers who probably weren't especially concerned about game balance so much as game functionality and stability. I could be wrong, but fighting games generally don't improve to the point of near flawless balance on their 4th installment just like that.

But no seriously this is a Project M thread. And I'm dropping this because I really don't care enough about Smash 4 to take it over to the main one.

I thought that was an entry for the regular SSB YMMV page. I misread.

We still should note the major balance issues fixed in Smash 4 on the regular page, but anyway.

Who added that line? PM them to elaborate. Or to talk it out if they found out more information we don't know. Whatever works.

...It's weird having so many websites and no way to properly display now, lol.
