Gee....I wonder who's going to be the super-duper-special character reveal this Friday....a certain clown perchance?
Nah, that would be too obvious....
We've seen him on New Genesis and the New Gods weren't that big compared to him.
Boom tubes. Like I said, boom tubes change your size to match where you're heading. If you were to fly directly there, the long way, you'd be tiny.
You're telling me that every time Superman has ever traveled there in the cartoon series or any other story he's been tinier than Darkseid?
When Darkseid uses a boom tube he automatically "regains" his natural size because literally every time I've seen this character he's maybe two or three people tall, he's Herculean but not Brobdignagian. The Darkseid we see here looks like a Devil Fruit user.
Also because I went to see this just to prove you wrong, holy crap this was cool.

I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!That's also impossible last I checked because Apokolips is uncharted.
Then again all this crap gets retconned every five years so for all we know Apokolips is within driving distance.
I remember that scale changing is one of Darkseid's lesser used abilities.

Nothing animated is canon to the DC comics themselves. They're completely separate.
In New Gods Volume 3, the New Gods are big enough to hold Earth in the palms of their hands.
Then how has Superman fought Darkseid all these years?
Seriously, everytime they've fought in the comics Darkseid is the Goliath to Superman's David? I've never seen that o_o
And then the problem is still that Darkseid beams the opponent into Earth's orbit, and then Boom Tubes his hand to catch them and throw them back to the arena - his size shouldn't be changing unless he's doing it consciously. Which is fine if it's one of his abilities but then it's odd he'd do it specifically after sticking his hand into the Boom Tube.
Uncanny Valley all up in this biz.

I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!Leaks afoot, by the by!
Our final character is Jesse Eisenberg◊, to no one's surprise. If you want gameplay then here you go.
I advise avoiding GameFAQs if you want to keep the surprise from being spoiler!
🏳️⚧️she/her | Vio Rhyse AlberiaLet's keep all the talk in spoiler tags until the reveal on Friday.
Looks like he was resurrected or something going by the chest scar. Feels younger. Lazarus Pit?
Recast actor?[tongue]
Noted and will do!
Was that a scar? I couldn't tell if that's what it was or if it was his knife. Either way, though... yeah, it's probably going to be Lazarus Pits assuming he was revived at all. And that brings me back to when the game was revealed and how we thought Ra's was the main villain... good times.
🏳️⚧️she/her | Vio Rhyse AlberiaDang Joker, get a haircut.
This song needs more love. This news is simply sublime.
The people that are going to rage. :)
I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!Forget the fans, in-universe I fully expect Superman to rage.
And then Batman's in the corner, shrugging his shoulders like, "What the hell did you expect to happen, Clark? He pulled that shit on me all the time."
Jason has come back to kill for Mommy.Batman: I've snapped his neck, Clark. Thrown him off buildings, poisoned him with his own gas, burned him, put Batarangs through several arteries. I've even left him inside a building with a bomb that went off and watched the building collapse afterward. I watched him fall several hundred feet to the ground inside a burning helicopter with no parachute, while he was pinned down and laughing at the whole thing.
Superman: I PUNCHED A HOLE THROUGH HIS CHEST.
Batman: :3 That's adorable.

I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!Man, I really wish it was May 16 already. I have maybe 3-4 hours left in Horizon: Zero Dawn, and I'd reeeeeeeeeeally like to be able to just pick up Injustice 2 afterward. Maybe I'll play the first one's story mode again to kill an extra day or two.
The hype is real.
Joker looks like a less overboard version of Leto mixed with Nicholson. I love it.
I showed it to a friend, expecting him to hate it, and he pointed out that it's basically just a floppy version of the hair Brian Bolland's Joker usually has.
Now I am curious how that character is back on the roster. Can't wait for the story mode.
Unless like in Arkham Knight he's just a figment of everyone's imagination. Or he's just there to pad the roster and he's still canonically dead.
My DA account... I draw stuff sometimes!Eh, if it were to pad the roster I'd think that character would just be DLC.
I wonder who the Mortal Kombat rep is going to be.
I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!I fully expect it to be Sub-Zero, but I think it'd be cool if it was Johnny Cage.
The ninjas seem to be an easier fit (colorful costumes, blatant superpowers that allow them to fight the D.C. roster, brand ubiquity) but Raiden could work too.
History Behind The Warrior, while participating in the special Injustice event, uploaded the Arcade Mode ending for Doctor Fate. Expect some cameos and minor spoilers:
