Yeah, I doubt it'd be a full on revamp of the character. Maybe just a color palette that also changes her symbol.

Ooh, so she's regressing. And those faces do look amazing.
Oh yeah, judging from those walking animations and attacks, she's replacing Joker in this game.
New Harley? Referring to her regressing back to New 52 levels of crazy, or is this Deadshot... from another universe? Someone mentioned a third faction in this game.
Apparently they stole/shared/kept Deadshot's finishing move.

Harley's moveset changes seem interesting. Deadshot though looks super fun.
Edit: I'm also loving Harley's classic headgear piece. I am wondering though, what would happen if you equip her motorcycle jacket chest gear, and the dynamite arm gear? Would the dynamite go over the jacket? That'd look horribly awkward. Now I'm wondering how certain gear will conflict with each other.

Also, one of Harley's mid match taunts makes a reference to her having schizophrenia. I haven't kept up with her comic all that well, so I'm not certain, is her having schizophrenia canon?

Don't know about the comics, but Harley in Arkham Knight can hear Harleen talking to her when you're in Psycho Vision.
BTW, never watch those IGN gameplay videos with the commentary over top. Destin Legarie is a terrible interviewer.
Ah. I actually think Harley looks a bit more fun to use in this game. Her new trait flows with combat much better. I need to see more of Deadshot though before I can develop a real opinion. It does look like he's got a mix of Deathstroke and Erron Black's gameplay.

The hyenas look great. I'm very curious what Wonder Woman's trait actually does.
I think it gives her a random buff to attack, defense, or special moves. Might be wrong.
I wonder if Injustice Harley is going to still be a good guy in this game.
They've never given a name to it iirc, but she does have problems similar to schizophrenia in some comics.

I think Deadshot saying "New Harley, same crazy" is in reference to her becoming a hero in the last game.
I'll do you one better: not only has this game been explicitly confirmed to take place in the Injustice universe, but the very first line is Batman saying "Harleen, you're losing control."
So yeah, same Harley from the first game, most likely having another relapse.

Eh, a lot of intros doverge from the story. In MKX, you could get vs matches where character A made fun of B's weight, leading to a fight. Odds are a lot of vs matches here will be similarly non canon.
Edit: Oh neat. Blue Beetle's gold coloration is called Boosted. That's cute. I wonder what other references we'll get in the color palettes. So far I've caught Superman's solar suit and Justice Lords outfit. Then there's Booster Gold for Blue Beetle. I really hope Supergirl gets a red lantern palette.

-Superman's logo can change depending on his chest gear, such as becoming the Red Son Superman's hammer and sickle
-You can unlock new moves, such as "Batarang Barrage" for Batman
-The story won't have multiverse crossovers, just the bad universe from the last game and the comics
-Aquaman has a Flashpoint color palette, Batman has one based on Thrillkiller, and another from Batman Beyond
-Gorilla Grodd's character trait seems to unlock his ability to use telekinesis (mentioning this because for the life of me I could not figure out what it did until this video)
-You can equip new gear between matches

Hm. Any bets on how likely Green Lantern is to appear in this one? I'd love to see the character return (partly because of gameplay, partly because I like the comics), but I'm wondering who it'd be if they do show up.
Hal kinda quit at the end of the last game, but it's possible he could come back. Guy, John, and Kyle are dead (but could come back if they really wanted one of them).
Simon and Jessica are also possibilities, and I could see them going with Jessica as part of their plan to include more female characters. Plus Jessica is my favorite lantern, so I'm fairly biased.
Well, barring resurrection shenanigans, that means Joker, Green Arrow, Dick Grayson, Captain Marvel and some other cool guys are also dead already... -_-
Also, Supes and Wonder Woman are evil...

The new Lego version of her in Lego Dimensions can switch to her Red Lantern outfit and power set and there's already a Red Lantern they can copy visual effects from in Injustice 2 so maybe. The costume is more likely than moves.
