Bramble simply stands back and watches the other ponies at work.

Can we come inside? I don't think it's safe to be outside too much when there's the possibility of the dragon coming back soon.

"Wait, Dragon?" Ballad said suddenly, flicking his cloud lower. His affectation had disappeared almost completely, and he peered over his shoulder. "Is, uh, that what this is all about? A dragon?"

can I roll a check to see if I spotted or passed the dragon on my way into town?

"Yes, a Dragon," Bramble confirmed, "Apparently the Dragon thought it important enough to pop in and seize the Mayor and fly off."

By the way, my Honesty + Presentation + Socialize is 8, so 2 points, (9, 7, 2, 2, 6, 5, 2, 1)

Crystal decided to hang back and let the others talk to Star Shine for now. Too many interrogators spoil the investigation.

I'm not interrogating, just making a simple request.

@crowlover: 8 should do it.

@Kegi: perception + wisdom and I'm giving you a 2 dice circumstance bonus due to the commotion.

Star Shine becomes flustered. " A dragon!? That's why the sirens went off?! Come inside! Tell me how you're going to save desk!"

Okay. That gives me nine rolls - I rolled a 1, 5, 7, 8, 9, 4, 8, 6, 6. So that's a score of 4.

"Alright, then."

Clouds heads inside with the crow perching on his back.

Just as a reminder to myself and everyone else that he exists. :P

@Kegi: Sorry. You saw nothing. You Did hear the sirens though.

Shoot, that's gonna make it hard for me to find a reason to actually come along with you on this first thing. Oh, well.

Ballad hopped off his cloud, darting inside along with the other ponies. The tips of his feathers were twitching nervously, and his eyes seemed to have been perpetually widened. "A Dragon kidnapped him?" he repeated. "I heard the sirens, but... I thought there might have just been a fire or something. I'm just glad it didn't fly past me on its way out..."

Crystal followed the others inside, taking her time to observe the house's decor. She remembered something about a gem that the mayor had supposedly taken. That might be something to keep an eye out for.

So do you describe the inside or do we just make stuff up as needed?

Feel free to add description. I'll appreciate the initiative and accept anything you add as long as it doesn't cause issues with my plans.

Otherwise, I'll just give a general idea unless I think that you'd notice something pecific. That said:

Their are photographs on display. May of which are of Star Shine and Desk Job together. Their are also newspaper cuttings of aricls about Star Shine. A display cabinet contains various items. Mainly jewelry. Though there are also trophies. A box which appears to be in the process of being unwrapped lies on a table. There is also a large safe in the corner. The rooms are fairly large, but those you an see are well furnished.

" Please tell me that Desk is going to be okay! I've been so worried about him lately! He's become so secretive!"

Bramble follows everypony inside Star Shine's home. The photos catch his eye as he walks past them, and he slows down to look at them.

There are many photos of Desk Job and Star Shine together. They are mainly in expensive settings and the wo of them are well dressed. There are also photos of Star Shine on stage in costumes.

Crystal walked over and gave the distressed pony a reassuring pat. "Don't worry. We'll have Desk Job back safe and sound, you'll see."

She glanced at the partially opened box. What could be inside? And why hasn't it been completely opened?

"But our best bet is to figure out why the dragon took him in the first place," she continued. "Did he ever give you a gift that seemed maybe a little unusual?"

Bramble accidentally muses his thoughts aloud.

"You're an actress?" he murmured, just barely loud enough for Star to hear.

Star Shine turns around. " Wow. You must be new in town. Yes, I'm an actress. As for gifts. He's been giving me fewer ones recently. I think that he was saving up for a big one. But he's givin me so many large presents that I don't know what he's planning to do to top them or what the occasion is. Still, his latest note said that he was plannng something special for tomorrow evening." She points at the box on the table. There isa card attached.

Clouds hears an excited caw and notices that the crow is looking intently at the many jewels in Star Shine's cabinet.

Clouds turns to Star Shine and asks "Miss Star Shine, out of curiosity, when did you get most of these jewels?"

Also, I'm thinking of having the crow do something that's within his character, but Clouds would not approve of, if he noticed it was happening. Is it possible to do that?

That's perfectly fine.

" Those are gifts from Desk. He's been giving me these the whole time that we've been dating. The most recent one was from our first anniversery three weeks ago. I was actually surprised that it wasn't one of the bigger ones. I thought that he was going to do something extra special that day. But he's been so distant recently."

"Well, yeah, I'm from out of town," Bramble admitted.

" That explains it. I'm something of a celebraty here. Best actress in Trottingham Theatre and all that. Not to mention having inherited a lot of money from my family."

What was your family like? Is this where you grew up?
