Nah, wizards are too detached from reality to even considering poking their big red noses into world affairs. They just want to be have their dinners in peace.

Though Mr.Stibbons and his co. at the High Energy Magic Building would be perfect candidate for A.I.M. They even got their own acronym (H.E.M)!

Well... Vimes doesn't really trust wizards... I'd got with that. HEX would also fit in rather nicely with that, too. However, this AIM is only after splitting the thaum and other activities... THAT CAN CONDEMN THE WORLD into the Dungeon Dimensions unless stopped. True, this would entail rewinding UU back a bit, but, hey.

Man, I sure do hope Hex doesn't go rogue, try to murder the wizards and set out to conquer the world...

Vimes doesn't trust most wizards. Ridcully, on the other hand, gets along with him famously.

Ridcully gets on with most people famously. As long as they're not called Henry, at least. Or are idiots. And, definitely if they like good food, good cheer and a good spot of hunting.

Heck, I even strongly suspect Vetinari of actually liking Ridcully.

More importantly, he may even respect him.

Eh, anyone who was even briefly Granny's beau deserves much respect.
