This is the third thread being made for the topic of Pakistan specifically. The first one was closed, and the second one has a title that is confusing (in an attempt to make it about both Afghanistan and Pakistan) and thus wasn't really ever attended to. Therefore, rather than necro it again, I'll make a new thread for this. The topic covers news from Pakistan, analysis as to why it does what it does, and how things are going to be, going forward.
To start off, the Pakistanis have been protesting just like everyone else in the Muslim World over the denigrating Youtube clip on the Prophet Muhammand. Unlike the rest of the nations however, Pakistan's protest have been the most violent and have involved the most people (and thus has had the most deaths). On the third day of protest, the Federal Minister of Railways offered a $100,000 bounty for the video maker, even calling on AQ and the Taliban to help whoever took up the bounty and that he was unafraid of arrest. Sad thing? He was part of the Awami National Party, which is supposedly secular.
