cutlisted articles disappear!

I wanted to do a cleanup of the Analysis namespace because I found that a lot of pages contained nothing, trollings or meaningless stuff. All in all, I cutlisted about 50 pages. But then I saw that about 30 of these pages were unchanged, but had disappeared from the cutlist! What is going on here?!

A cutmaster did not think they were worthy of cutting. More information may be available on the discussion pages of the articles.

ETA: things with over 10 inbounds tend not to get cut unless they have to be. (FiveP stuff, etc.)

No, I considered these reasons already, and they don't make sense. Junk Warrior 20999 is trolling, and Hollywood Hype Machine is plain empty, and neither has any inbounds. To name but two examples.

It is as if just those cutlistings on 05/07/12 made after 7:30 AM were, well, removed from the cutlist again by "request". This is odd.

probably removed by mistake, when some other stuff was removed as trolling the cutlist with stuff that should have gone to FiveP.

Being empty is not a reason to cut a page. Nor is insufficient text, in Analysis. These things have to be left around so that someone who want to fill them in can do so without having to have them unlocked. These are things that need to be fixed, not just deleted.

Goal: Clear, Concise and Witty

Whether to lock a cut page should be a checkable option on the cut form.

I wanted to update the Analysis page and remove the useless articles before. Well, I won't cutlist any more articles now.

And I still don't see why we can't even remove troll articles.

The problem with blank Analysis pages is that they still have the borders around the buttons on the main pages. The border tricks the reader into thinking there's actually something there.

But what about the pages that aren't Analysis at all, like Junk Warrior 20999? Would anything be lost if we cut that? It would seem to belong in Tropers/ instead.

I think it was deleted along with the others because Eddie didn't want blank Analysis pages locked, and was getting Fed up with Frank75 for cutlisting them, so he took all his cuts of Analysis pages off the list. Also, Aondeug is an Analysis page for a Troper page.
