It's a sequel to 2009's bargain bin classic X-Blades and concensus from the few that played it is that it's an improvement over the original, though still mediocre.
Thanks, that's what I was looking for. Abandon thread!

And I'd like to vouch to the game's quality to some degree by saying I played the demo on PC and found it to be decent and quite responsive. However, it's not worth $40 to me, at least not now. Maybe after a massive 80% off sale I'll pick it up.
EDIT: just realized the linked review pretty much echoed the same sentiments as I did, and not an opposing viewpoint like I originally thought. Ah well.

-Switched voice to Japanese
-Main character, Ayumi, speaks
"Sounds familiar...", I thought. Googled "Blades of Time Ayumi voice"
5th result - "Rie Kugimiya: Blades of Time (Japanese version) - Ayumi"

Give me cute or give me...something?Looks good, thus far. There's one key "advantage" for this game over a similar game, Devil May Cry 4. I'm specifically talking about the PC version here.
That "advantage" it has over DMC 4: better keyboard controls!!!
They botched up the initial release though (random slowdowns, input lag, etc.), but once they got the patches out those problems were solved.
I find the default mouse sensitivity a bit weird however. Too low, much like Bulletstorm.
Go to the options menu before you start a game, it's the very last option, scroll down to see it: "Language (voice)". You can choose from English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Russian (since it's from Gaijin Entertainment), and Japanese (since it's the "original" voices).

Does anyone know anything about this game? I was looking for a demo to download on PSN, and I came across this. I did some research, and it turns out it barely even have a Wikipedia page, much less a TV Tropes page. It seems to have already been released, even though I'd never heard of it. Does anybody know anything about it?
