There's one I saw on IFC once called The Debt that was sort of similar to what you're describing. It was in black and white.

No, this one was a deliberate subversion of betrayal and murder mystery tropes, where two characters would "kill" the third, then the "dead character would stand up and announce they and one of the others had faked the whole thing to betray the other, and then repeat for about a dozen times. I do think it was in black and white, though.

Hello world, A few years ago, I followed a link from a trope page to a really funny short film about twists and betrayals. There were three characters, a husband, a wife, and a co-worker of the husband. There were many fake deaths as characters switched sides to betray the other, and I think it was about ten minutes long. May have been in French.
