Sweet FSM that's terrible. Needs a rewrite for sure. Granted I tend to prefer more "clinical" descriptions in general, but I do think that it needs to be more professional-sounding.

The first paragraph or so has a ridiculous meme density, to the point that it interferes with understanding the trope. Can someone verify this for me?
I'll fix it myself if I can get some people to confirm that the situation warrants a rewrite, since I'm not in the practice of unilateral description rewrites. If the consensus is "yeah get rid of all those memes," I'll attempt a rewrite.
