Still overseeing things, and following the events unfolding with Hikaru/Sakura/Kyoku closely. And I meant to ask, which Warriors Orochi is it that keeps you busy, des? I recall 3 came out recently..

The first one. The others weren't ported, but a friend of mine told me that 2 and 3 are too easy. Given that 1's difficulty is mostly Fake (I'm looking at you, Jian Ye Castle, and Shu 6-X), I believe him. I mean, WO itself is easier than, say, Dynasty Warriors 4.

DW 3 was the best of the series, but only the translated version (DAT VOICE ACTING).

I'd like to know that too. As awesome as the scene with the Literally Falling in Love was, I'm getting anxious.

I believe the plan was to time skip to either just before or the very beginning of the school festival? So whatever peoples' assorted characters would be doing there, that's what would be going down. Amongst the NPC classes' haunted houses and cafes of course. Or should we have something more concrete than that?

eidt: We should probably also discuss what everyone's been up to during that time frame (a few weeks? a month?), like character interactions and stuff.

OK. I remind everyone that we need to decide about the piece the music club will perform. Anyway:

• Sakura, being the jerkass she is, stayed haughty... mostly. She found Hikaru quite enchanting, so she met with her from time to time. Oh, and she apologised to Miyabi. Sorta. It probably didn't sound this way. She still looks down at Miyabi and Akari, though.
• Kyoku had fun. Aside from her usual stuff, she pestered Miyabi and the rest of the music club constantly, as well as poking fun at Hikaru and Sakura's 'relationship' (though of course Sakura objected very strongly).
• The music club NPCs did what NPCs do when nobody's looking.

Hey, sorry for disappearing for the third time in a row, but I really am willing to get back in this. Thing is, no character can exist in a vacuum, and with Sonzai's departure the Mahjong club seems to be a bit...dead. Any other clubs need someone?

Music is always accepting members, with Kyoku being what she is, I guess.

Miyabi: Spent a lot of time considering whether to attempt to switch promotion companies or not, but has decided against it so far. This is in order to not give anyone reason to suspect that she and Akari are actually somewhat close. Also ran into 13 lamp posts, 10 ajar doors, tripped over 24 low-lying barriers and 10 each of stairs, cracks in pavement and oddly placed banana peels. Hung around with Akari outside of school fairly often but tried her best to avoid too much contact during school. Also has been privately recording herself covering less stupid songs.

As to what the Music Club is going to do, something that plays to each character's strength? Strong vocals for the singers, a particular style for musicians, etc?

And @Sonzai: I had been planning to bring in a new character to replace Reboot!Kanako, maybe she could join the Mahjong Club or whatever one you think your character would go to?

Right now I'm torn between making that replacement character, Mio, a reincarnation of Andrew Jackson instead. For reasons that cannot be adequately explained. Probably will just keep the Lu Bu thing.

Keep the Lu Bu thing. It'll be awesome.

@Bomb: I agree with desdendelle. It's hard to go wrong with Lu Bu.

As for what Sakuya's been up to, she's just been doing school, doing kendo, and trying to be friends with everyone in the kendo club. She's gotten better at controlling her strength, but over a decade of training is hard to overcome, so she still has trouble stopping herself from going all out whenever she uses both hands. For now, she's getting around this by putting both hands on the handle, but only really using her right hand. She's accidentally insulted a few people in her class due to her social retardation and utter lack of tact, a fact that she remains oblivious to.

As long as she is the hot Lu Bu from Koihime Musou and not Ryofuko-chan, I'm all for Lu Bu. c.c

In the end, you can't go wrong with Lu Bu. I could see Mio (the Lu Bu reincarnation, sort of) having joined the kendo club briefly, then getting restless and leaving it. Likely she would have gone all-out herself in sparring and frightened people.

I'm not really sure what to do with my character since Scrounge dropped out.

You can have her bump into Kyoku, which would have bothered her anyway since she's in Music.

Join the club, doineedaname. Join the club.

Mio will also be available for running into, though she will have no real connection to the music club.
