Honestly, so much evidence of this being his sister is piling up that I'm fully expecting it not to be.

...What if the thing decides since it can't bring Ikuto to Japan it will bring Japan to Ikuto and brings his sister to the island?

I like the manga... However... The anime felt uninspiring.

The characters were shifted very hard in the direction of stock....

I'm.... Its been a while. All I have to say is: Hell. Yes.

Looks like the scanlators are bothering to catch up now.

And looks like it was his sister.

Raws for 124 showed us a real doozy: All of the men are on boats just outside the barrier, like in the anime.

So him not believing in Youkai wasn't just a running gag? That's a nice way to spin it even though I don't think this was planned out from the start.

Are they not related at all, or still half-siblings?

Thought it was pretty clear that they simply aren't related.

Hm. I wasn't sure. I didn't see anything ruling out them having the same father.

Usually one would point out that they're a half-sibling or something.

Now she wants Ikuto to treat her as any normal girl, which makes it pretty obvious that it wouldn't be something incestuous (or someone would have pointed that out as well).

Hm. Makes me wonder how Ikuto is going to react to all the various other youkai on the island.

...Although in its own way, it's kind of weird that he got used to the idea of talking animals; was the spell or whatever placed on him related only and specifically to youkai then?

Ah, I see. Interesting. I just read through that now, and it references the island of Airantou in an implicitly fictional sense.

Regarding this series though, I was looking at what the sister had rated all of the girls so far, and noticed that she had not rated Suzu. Not numerically, anyway.

I placed the series at the front of my backlog, so I'll probably go over it while I binge stuff like Watashi Ni XX Shinasai.

I wonder when she'll realize that writing Suzu off is a huge mistake.
